    steering

You need to clarify the problem. The steering will not work at all, like the steering is locked? Or the steering works with great difficulty like the power steering unit is not providing power assistance?

2.5 gal YELLOW fuel can? (maybe Orange?)

Historically most diesel cans seem to have been yellow. I have seen a few in blue. There are paints suitable for plastics. Have you considered painting a two or two and a half gallon can yellow? You can also get battery powered pumps for transferring diesel from the can on the ground to the...

Loader work, Engine oil pressure warning, and engine dies...

Another check you could make is to flip the seat up. It pivots on a rod. The rod is held in place with a clip. If you lose the clip the rod can wok its way out causing the seat to only be on the seat switch intermittently.

    Owners and Service Manuals ...Again

Have you tried eBay? Manuals for that model appear to be available from England or Canada. They may not match yours exactly but could give you a starting point: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=kubota+l2600+dt+manuals&_sacat=0

    D1105T hard starting, white smoke

If the controller says NGK it is neither Kubota nor Toro, it's an NGK product. NGK probably made your glow plugs as well. You likely have the controller because glow plugs frequently operate at 9.5 volts, not 12.

    Studded tires

Studs won't be much help in snow. Chains kind of press into snow to give more tread in the stuff. Studs help a bit on an ice surface as they will bit into it. If you can even come up with some kind of cable chain it would be more help than studs in snow.

1998 Kubota V1505 non turbo pouring black smoke and no start

Check that the air filter is properly installed and there is no blockage anywhere in the supply to the intake manifold. It sure sounds like lack of air.

Fuses may look good. Check them with an ohmmeter to be sure. Sometimes they break down internally and look good but aren't.

    L3901 HST transmission whine

I have an L2501 HST and was concerned about the loud whine. The local Kubota mechanic assured me it was normal and said it would diminish over time. Perhaps my hearing will degrade over time and I'll just notice it less. It seems louder in the highest gearing range and higher speeds are...

    Electric Gremlins - Kubota L35 - TLB

You can connect a voltmeter to the output of the glow plug relay or to one of the glow plugs - they're wired in parallel so all are energized at the same time. If the glow plugs are energized they take a LOT of power from your battery. That won't tell if the relay itself is bad, only if it's...

    B2650 or L2501

I believe you can get the L2501 with either the HST (hydrostatic) transmission or a regular manual transmission. I paid the extra $1000 for the HST on my L2501. I have no regrets. You sacrifice one or two horsepower but it gives me more flexibility for speed when mowing and easier direction...

    Key Switch for Kubota B1500DT

I also have a grey market tractor - a Mitsubishi. My ignition switch eventually failed. Rather than buy the high dollar replacement I went into my local NAPA dealer for an inexpensive automobile ignition switch. No, it doesn't have a glow plug position. I added a heavy duty spring loaded...

Kubota L2600DT Range Shift Lever Problem

    Small hole in reservoir

All the reservoir does is hold overflow coolant as the engine warms. It can build up to 14 or 15 psi as the system heats. If your patch holds, you're good. If not you will be looking at a replacement reservoir.

Bx25 HST fan blade - just 1 blade off

As FRO65 said - don't use it with a missing blade. It will probably shake to beat the band, anyhow with being so far off balance.

    BarÂ’s radiator tablets...

I guess some clarification is in order. Thermo Cure is in no way a stop leak. It is a biodegradable environmentally safe radiator flush. It removed a lot of built up gunk from my block. I had my radiator done in a radiator shop. I flushed and reverse flushed the block. At that point my...

Left Key On Now Won't Turn Over

If you have not yet turned the key off, try turning it off and leaving it that way for thirty seconds or so. Then try starting it. It may just be out of sequence and "think" it's still running. If it "thinks" it's running that could lock the starter out of the circuit. This is just a...

    New Kubota L2501 ordered

I guess seating comfort is an individual thing. My Kubota seat is so much better than my old Mitsubishi seat I can't really compare the two. The Kubota seat has a lot more give and is far more comfortable. I'm sure there are better seats out there but for mowing it works well for me.
