    Fuses for L1500

The fuses are not Kubota specific. You can get them from any auto parts seller. You can make a note of the existing fuse values and pick up spares just about anywhere. Honestly I've never blown one, though.

    Use your clutch!

When I bought my tractor the mechanic explained I should use the clutch when engaging and disengaging the PTO to reduce the wear on the internal gears. This video is helpful in that it shows exactly what's going on. Thanks for sharing.

    Led headlights

Take a bulb along when you go shopping. Some Kubota headlight bulbs are a bit unique.

Auto Zone or O'Reilly's will loan the tools for free. You need to pay a deposit of the value of the tool but when the tool is returned so is the deposit.

    best degreaser for small parts

Degreaser used to come with the basket in a bucket kits purchased at the auto parts store. For smaller stuff you could try acetone. It's sold in the paint department of big box stores and Ace. Caution - it melts many plastics.

4wd kubota doesn't 4wd anymore. I dont know what to ask!

I'll go along with Rusty. You can probably replace the damaged yoke on the shaft. A driveshaft shop will probably have manuals and be able to order the correct part. You could have them replace both U joints at the same time then it's likely a matter of reassembly. No, you shouldn't have to...

    PTO freewheel

I don't believe an over run clutch is necessary but I added one to my L2501 anyhow. I didn't like the idea of my mower attempting to spin my system backward. If there's an internal over run clutch hopefully this will extend its life and put off required repairs. I just bought one on Amazon...

    70's kubota B6000e

Jay has the right idea just be sure it's distilled water to prevent introducing any minerals. Even if the eight quarts suggested doesn't fill your system it will be enough to safely run it. I really think he's hit it awfully close to the mark, though.

    Snow Removal

I've got about as much driveway as you do but only have an L2501. I did spring for blacktop over the old gravel bed. I bought a couple Edge Tamers to prevent damage to the surface. That will leave about a half inch of snow but also protect the driveway and my front loader. which I'm using to...

    Advice on what to buy

If you want a belly mower in Kubota the current limit is the LX frame which is very similar to the B series. If you go to the current L series there is no belly mower option. I opted for the L2501 to avoid the hassle of a DPF and computer. I think 1200 pounds is about my limit on the front...

    70's B6000e tractor

Any ethylene glycol brand will be fine. A 50/50 mix with distilled water is generally recommended or you can buy pre mixed. Do not use tap or well water, they build up sediments in the cooling system.

    B3200 starting problem

Try removing the cables from the battery. Clean cable ends and battery terminals. Inspect cable ends for corrosion damage to cable itself. Reinstall and tighten thoroughly. Follow cable to frame ground. Clean and tighten. If voltage is still low when starter is engaged charge battery and...

Can't find radiator drain plug on L3600

You should be able to purchase a tester at your local auto parts store to tell the freezing level of your coolant mixture without draining it. I never found the radiator drain on my last tractor so I simply detached the lower hose. Be sure to use only distilled water with the anti freeze in...

    M9540 no starting problem

I don't think he needs a wiring diagram just yet. Charge the battery and have it load tested. It sounds like high internal resistance in the battery - assuming connectors were clean and tight and the frame connection was as well.

    Early 80's L285

If you're sure you need a starter you should be able to take it to a local starter repair shop. They can probably either repair yours or come up with an equivalent replacement for far less than the genuine Kubota article which is unlikely to be made by Kubota anyhow.

    BX2200 Hydraulic Hardline question

If you don't have flat rubber roofing you could try a piece of inner tube. A cheap bicycle inner tube would probably suffice.

To Plow or not To Plow

Living in the north country I'm sure you know if you don't plow it will pack. Virgin snow is only virgin the first time you cross it. After snow packs it tends to form an ice like coat over time. You need to make your own choices on this one.

As the Evil Twin said you may be at the point of replacing the flasher. If it uses an automotive type flasher get a solid state replacement at the auto parts store. It will flash even with a burned out bulb.
