    loader

Sometimes the three point can interfere with the loader. If the three point is not properly adjusted and set to the fully up position the loader may operate VERY slowly or perhaps not at all. Set your three point to a position shy of full up and see if that helps. You may need to obtain a...

    1985 B8200 4x4 HST Parts

Kubota didn't make the seals, they purchased them from a seal maker. If you can remove the old seals and take them to a seal and bearing supplier or a local hydraulic shop they can probably tell you what standard seal size would be appropriate.

    Help please with bx2200

As Rusty said, it could be the ignition switch. The fuel shutoff solenoid is another potential culprit. Some of these solenoids have one connection for the start position and another for run.

A reasonable alternative to 2 grease guns?

You may wish to consider the smaller three ounce grease guns.

    Greased the Kubota yesterday.

This is a joke, right? Color coordinated grease? I like to use a grease containing molybdenum disulfide (usually black) for locations without ball or roller bearings and a good quality lithium grease (may be red or white, usually) for ball or roller bearings. I wipe off excess grease when I'm...

    Running rough

I was told by my local Kubota mechanic that the newer diesel fuels start to gel at a higher temperature than the old fuels did. He recommends using a fuel additive whenever temps approach freezing which in your case would be 0 degrees C or in my case 32 degrees F.

    LA211 - Lift & Lower Issues

I don't know much about hydraulics but from experience I know if your three point lever is all the way to raise it can affect loader operation. There's some kind of metering rod in the three point to control that and if it's out of adjustment it can cause issues with hydraulics.

    B2601 vs L2501

I use a five foot brush hog type mower on my ten acres - none of which is really flat. My l2501 has absolutely no problem with the mower. I would not have wanted a lighter tractor (like the B series) due to my concern for the "tail wagging the dog". I also run a five foot box blade when needed.

    L3940 gets stuck in snow

Go with the RCW recommendation and chain it up. If that worked well with the old Ford that should be a clue it's a good system.

    L4400

While checking seat switch check the rod on which the seat pivots as well. If one end comes loose the seat will not activate the switch properly.

Edge Tamers on the FEL bucket

I got a set of the Edge Tamers as well. I feel it was money well spent. Not only will they keep my bucket from gouging my driveway but they will be much cheaper to replace when they wear out than would a the bucket itself - and easier, too.

    Flywheel Torque

If I was going to the trouble of splitting a tractor I'd want to look up the torques for myself from the shop manual. I'm kind of picky that way.

    L3430 HST Neutral

I have found neutral need not be selected to start my tractor. It did take a few times to remember to depress the clutch. The starter will not operate unless I do. Check your clutch switch. The seat switch only seems to present a problem when the tractor is in motion. You might also check...

    L3901 radiator

Coolant should not vent during starting or EVER!! You have a sealed system. Look for defective or missing radiator cap or take it in for service. While at the dealer inquire about the temperature gauge and regeneration issues. You may have stuff covered by warranty going on.

    Hole or slot?

I personally prefer a little bit of side play rather that being completely rigid.

    B-7100d clutch adjustment

It could be a clutch adjustment thing. You should have about an inch of free play at the pedal, not much more - maybe less. It sounds as though your clutch plate is stuck, though. Sometimes you can pop it free by placing it in a high gear and depressing the clutch while trying to move an...

    Best snow tires

Turf tires really aren't very good in snow whether new or old. Get a set of decent chains. If they're not hardened they'll wear out pretty quickly.

    Kubota B3000

I'd probably start by making sure the brake isn't set. From there I'd check the clutch adjustment. You should have in inch of free play - give or take - before you can feel the pressure of the clutch itself. Also, be sure the range selector is engaged and your fluid is at the proper level.

LA 524 to base model L3901 HST.

I believe a new tractor comes with everything needed to connect an LA525 loader. If the one you're buying is salvage you should look it over carefully to see what's been removed (if anything). Look especially for the hydraulic hoses just to the right of the steering column. They should be...
