yea i cleaned it up and the hole looks like a factory hole. so like you said maybe a vent. no picture at the moment. im going to change the fluids like you said and go from there.

So is that why it’s leaking? Because it leaks so bad right there in the picture that it doesn’t hold fluid at all. I’ve put the UTD fluid in and it all leaks right out

that small center hole is where the oil is coming from. its a threaded hole. but nothing goes there. and in the bottom of the hole there is about an 1/8 perfect whole in the bottom of that hole on the side. sorry hard to explain in words

yes it is kept outside but i keep it covered. i noticed it leaking from the top of the hydrostat assembly and stopped using it. do you know why it would be leaking oil out right there? i dried the oil up and it doesnt seem to be cracked but there is a whole there but it looks like its supposed...

i have a bx2200. the hydrostat transmission is leaking udt fluid out of the top of the assembly. there is a small (looks factory) hole that the oil is coming through. could this just be the hydrostat transmission assembly needs to be replaced or is it something else.
