Can anyone spot a common cause for my electrical issues?

Perform positive and negative voltage drop tests. That will help identify why you only have 10.89V at the starter.

    Kubota B6100 HST-D

Could that be going to the oil cooler mounted in front of the rad (#16)?

    Spray Lube

The problem with spray lube is it gets a lot of lube where you don't want it and not much where you do want it. I prefer an old fashion oil can.

    Starter question

That was done earlier this year for a different problem. I have done a voltage drop test on both the positive and negative battery leads.

Did that when this happened the first time.

    Starter question

Dismantled the starter today. Always fun working on stuff in the snow at -5C. As I suspected, one of the brushes was stuck in its track. Removed the brushes from the tracks and used a small screwdriver to scrape the crud out of the tracks. Gave the brushes a light rub with emery cloth and put...

    Starter question

Earlier this summer the starter in my M6800 started acting up. Sometimes it would crank over and other times I would just hear the solenoid click. Then it gave up the ghost and would not crank at all. I pulled the starter and bench tested it. Solenoid was fine, but wouldn't spin. I gave it a...

If you still have the oil, you can try sticking a strong magnet in it and see what you collect.

anybody running a "secondary air filter" on their BX?

or C$31 from Kubota... amazon isn't always the cheapest option, especially for things sold through the market place.

    B20 Motor Bolts Missing

To remove the broken bolts, start with a left hand drill bit. If the god of tractor repair smiles upon you the bolt might come out while you are drilling. If it doesn't use a bolt extractor in the hole you just drilled. I like the spiral ones. It never hurts to soak them with your penetrating...

    B20 Motor Bolts Missing

How long have you owned this tractor? That bolt looks like it was stripped and someone put some loctite on it to hold it in place.

    Complete rewire?

Before I spent any time on repairs, I think I would leave some low hanging, easily accessible wires attached to an electric fencer... Mr. Doodle should quickly figure out that these aren't chew toys.

    Heater hook up B2601

The nominal operating temperature of an internal combustion engine is 70C-90C. It will get hotter under load. It is normal for the hoses to be hot.

    Drain Fuel?

I'm going to go with the "that depends" answer. If the tractor has sat for two years without use, how likely is it that you will burn a full tank of fuel this fall and winter? If you are sure you will burn at least a tank of fuel, do as @GeoHorn suggests, otherwise drain it.

    L4701 only clicks

I went through this a few days ago. https://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/threads/my-thanks-to-dave_eng.59961/ I would recommend that you do the voltage drop tests. I you don't have a multimeter then do as others have suggested and clean the battery posts and the connectors at both ends of...

    My thanks to Dave_eng

Dave_eng has posted the Denso voltage drop test several times. Today it saved me a lot of time and some of the few remaining hairs on my head. Last week, I went to start my M6800, it turned over and just before it started there was a loud pop and nothing. I tried again and all I got was some...

    Pressure Gauge Threads?

I built mine using a tee and a male and female quick connect. I need the female end to connect to the FEL valve and the male end to connect to the rear remotes. And I can use it inline or not... for the cost of a couple fittings I liked the flexibility it gave me.
