Thanks everyone. the Land Pride forks cost $1100 right now, and a couple of the other good QR options are on pretty long wait lists. I'll keep hunting. I appreciate all your advice, it really helps.

Tarter Quick Attach Pallet Fork, 1,200 lb. Capacity at Tractor Supply Co. anyone used this brand? I am wondering if the forks would stay stable if I used the "shovel" attachment mentioned previously in this thread--would the pressure of digging pop the elbow of the forks up? Several of the...

Right now, forks would be used to move brush, big rocks that bucket can't handle, firewood. so I'd say lighter...

    BX 2380 throttler/power lever question

Thanks to all for the super helpful explanations. NCL471--your detailed explanation helps me understand how the different mechanisms work together which is both reassuring AND confidence building. I'm doing a lot of land clearing and learning as I go is OK but I really don't want to wreck the...

    BX 2380 throttler/power lever question

This is a ridiculous question I'm sure but I have to ask. Does the throttle/power lever control the potential speed of the tractor OR the power (such as for FEL or axle or pto etc), or both? The manual is kind of sketchy on the relationship of the throttle to the forward/reverse (accelerator ?)...

I just got my first tractor and am not yet at the 50 hr mark yet, but reading you excellent walkthrough I am wondering how to check pressure on my tires which are filled with fluid to help with ballast.
