    PTO Wood Chipper

The advantage of the larger chipper is not that it ‘can’ take larger sticks, its also that sticks and limbs are never straight and full of crotches and Y’s. With the bigger capacity machine you can stuff all that crooked material through without having to trim it down. Or not limb small trees...

    Reverse Alarm for LX2610 / B2650

If your a bit savvy with electrical, you could mount a micro switch or a proximity switch on your pedal linkage somehow, with a rely, to activate a back up alarm. You’d need 12v from somewhere. Shouldn’t be too complicated of a project

    Kubota M5091 Poor Clutch Action

Notice I said has/had?! A simple piece of brake line with the right ends, or simply drilling/dremel-ing out the accumulator itself :) 2nd Best mod to truck, (best was adding a relay to engage low range while in 2wd)

    Kubota M5091 Poor Clutch Action

Good day You can shift gears using only the shuttle, no need to use the foot clutch pedal, or stop for that matter if you’re rolling along. ive tried using the shuttle to shift on the road but it’s just not smooth enough like you mention. However your foot clutch pedal should able u to feather...

Better way to see Hydraulic fluid level?

Beery, I use a different brand but assume they are all about the same.... it only takes maybe a 1/4 cup for me to dye 10 gallons. I added it in a bit of oil when I topped up one time and it certinally gets agitated inside the machine! min sure the JD container has some instructions on it...

    tractor insurance required

I am in Ontario, from my understanding legally you don’t ‘need’ insurance to travel on the road. Have your SMV sign. however, I have liability through my business policy, tractor replacement value included is around a grand a year. Wawanesa is the company it’s wrote through. Good luck

M7060, adding additional LED accent lights to dome light.

I think you should be able to use a relay to ‘switch’ the switch around so it’ll work the way you want?

    Cylinder ram lubrication

If it’s of any quality it should be fine. Industrial stuff sits around snd no one is spraying things. Take the cylinder off snd put it on another implement to keep it in use? I’m doing that with my snowblower/ rear blade. But I’m cheap, for now. if you don’t use it the seals may or may not...

    3 point .. tightening tension?

I leave some loose if I want them to move/wiggle a bit if I think it’ll fetch up on something. Wear vs no give and breaking stuff.....

    Washer fluid pump

Thanks for the input and ideas. There is no number on the pump that means anything. I’ve measured the inlet nipppe and will email an aftermarket pump outfit and see what one is close. I thought about the auto wrecker route too :) Kubota in all their wisdom put 2 pumps on this one, for...

    Washer fluid pump

I need to replace a washer fluid pump on the M7060. Of course you can’t buy just a pump from Kubota, the whole complete tank is available for hundreds of dollars tho..... I guess the world wouldn’t go around without there being 367 different sizes and styles of pumps out there, Has anyone else...

    Air filter clogged with snow

Sorry to go off topic, we have this issue with some of our snowmobile trail grooming machines. (Prinoth, Pisten Bulley, Bombi 180) One of them had some sort of a flapper valve that would direct hot air (from around the exhaust) into the intake path to help keep the snow melted, kinda sorta...

    Receiver recommendation

Using the 3pt is nice, just pick up and move, if you don’t need to worry about locking it on, however, Murphy is usually nearby ready to lend a helping hand and puts an obstacle near the jack that you don’t see which will bend it over.... Using the FEL could be an option too maybe? Ball on...

    Receiver recommendation

I had this made for over the drawbar. The 3pt could lift up..... likely not in your case but... I got a cheapie 3pt receiver T bar off Amazon that works. If you have any scrap tubing, welder and an hour of time, you could make one for your purpose!

Gear oil vs UDT in front axle

I’m running SUDT in the axle on the M7060. But I operate in the winter,(-30’s) sometimes cold starts outside (I’m not gonna put a pan heater on the axle) so the thinner oil is better for that IMO. And it’s what the book says to use so it can’t hurt. If I was in a warmer climate I’d think...

    Snow pusher

if it’s a bracket you got to mount on the pusher yourself,....... mount the bracket onto your loader’s QA. Drive up to the snow pusher and the holes on which to mount it should be obvious! Or drill new ones! :)

    Trailer plug add on.

Camera man, i tow my dump trailer with the tractor. I removed the factory ag style 7 pin and put on an RV style one. Had to get the multi meter out to figure out the wiring. If I recall, there was no 12v constant like a truck. Or if there was, it was powered off the same fuse in the cab as...

    Kubota quick disconnects?

Any 1/2” male end (iso5675) should work. There are a few different styles, (ball or poppet) that claim to easier to connect/disconnect under pressure depending..... The breakaway feature works great when you forget to unplug them 😳 and drive away...... A hose on one implement was not quite long...

Need tips for making implement removal easier

I pull all the pins for adjustments, turn the turnbuckles a bit to relieve any tension if needed (from being slightly unlevel) then it still may need a kick. Get a 4’ crow bar for a lever, maybe a big spud wrench, and a couple pound sledge hammer. you could upgrade the PTO shaft to one that...
