    Let it snow!

I'm down from the Kenai in Alaska, so this is incredibly warm. I'm heading south to Santa Monica Kalifornia, for my dad's birthday next week. It's really hot down there! I know I'm going to love the traffic too

    Let it snow!

I had to run into CDA and the dash thermometer said 54. I had to drive with the windows open to cool it off with the winter sun blazing thru the windows. There's no snow left down there.

    Let it snow!

Yup, down here between Sandpoint and CDA, it's melting off fast. My driveways almost clear, and The lawn is half green. Wasn't expecting to see green for two months still. Only plowed three times, and never even used the snow blower

    Strange Question of the Day

If the weather was that bad, I would avoid towing if at all possible! Towing with chains is miserable

    Let it snow!

It's just slushy and heavy. I'll fire up the K and give it a quick push when I get home this afternoon. My driveways pretty flat but the thaw and melt every day makes a mess

Big Shovel for the BX FEL quick connect

It would have to be heavy plate steel to hold up. I know with the hard rocky ground here, I'm amazed I can dig with the backhoe. There will be a lot of stress on it. I picked up a trencher/ripper tooth for my BX, and its 1/2" thick, heavy welded, and ground to a point.

    Let it snow!

Yes but looking out the window is the only true measure of what the weather actually is. You sure can't go by what the weather man says

    Let it snow!

We got about 5" yesterday, but it's warmed up and lightly raining now. I hate that slushy crap, wish it would stay 20 and sunny, but this is N. Idaho

    Let it snow!

Looks like a few inches of the white stuff today, before it warms up again all week. Might have to plug in the Kubota and plow the driveway tomorrow.

    Mig Welder Suggestions

As with most things in life, do your research and buy better welder and one that can do more than you currently think you need. You will find once you start with a cheap or under powered welder, you wont be satisfied. Good welders, or tools of any kind make work more fun, make better welds, and...

    trailer loading fails

The snows no big deal, it's the ice that makes people stupid. I've always said half the people in this world are dummy's, they prove it by the way they drive. When I worked in Texas and especially in Kalifornia, once it rained, watch out!

    trailer loading fails

We got a couple inches this morning, but there's been lots of ice on the back roads, and like you said, people drive like it's dry, and end up off the side of the road. I can see a little sun trying to peek thru to the S/W. I wanted to plow the driveway again, but the grass and gravel is barely...

    trailer loading fails

Just saw a flatbed trailer loaded with hay bales off the side of the road thru someone's fancy white vinyl fence, and in their yard! What happened to the tow vehicle?? I'll have to stop and get pics on my way back thru

    BX 2370 Snow Blade

They make and sell a lot of vehicles in Canada and Mexico that you can't get in the states. Some neat diesels and truck models that you won't see here. Don't know why they do things like that

    BX25D - new owner Q's

I use the backhoe on my BX way more than I thought. Not just digging stumps, but you can dig some pretty serious holes, trench for conduits and pipe etc. It's great for setting poles for buildings too. Just play with it, you have to get the feel for it. Now you are an addict too!
