    Saving a leaning tree??

I've had to tie up a bunch of trees this year. I cut pieces of wood ( I had a bunch of stickers and pickets on hand) about 8" long and use them as protection on the back side of the trees, so the rope I hold them in place with won't dig into the bark and damage the tree. I use the Kubota to pull...

    Painting fuel barrel advice

No reason you can't make it pretty. Go to the nearest N40 or tractor supply and get a quart of K Orange, than get a matching decal of your favorite toy on there. I just picked up a quart, it was $10. I'm going to do an accent stripe around my shop wall, between the grey lower and white upper walls

Tax credit for wood and pellet stoves.

I'll have to look into that as I would like to get a pellet stove for the workshop.

    Wicked Ride, Tough Restore

Just down the road a little from you guys, all the trails are melted, and my lawn is about half green already. I took off my snow blade and put the FEL and Hoe back on. Looks like an early spring for sure. There's nothing like a running Steam engine. extremely cool. Probably the ultimate in...

    snow chains

Mi have a different tractor, but it would have been close on mine, so I added 1 1/2" rear spacers. Where the chains might have fit before without issue, now I know they have no problem, I have lots more room to get them put on, and the tractor feels better and much more stable, with the extra width.

    Kubota BX2760 Front Blade

I agree with the above comments. I have the same setup, and clear about 1500' of graded gravel road ( did so again this morning) the 60" blade works awesome, easy to adjust on the fly, and with the backhoe off, really rolls the snow off the road.

    Pedal issue on BX25D

    Just thought about something this morning while drinking my coffee. I didn't find the washer either ( took a year for the nut to turn up!) the last time my seat fell off.......... Who knows where that could have rolled to.***128563;

    Pedal issue on BX25D

That's exactly what I thought. So the tech arrives, and I had a nice tarp laying out under the BX, with the skid plate removed. After five minutes of head scratching and fiddling with the pedal assembly, by the tech, he removed all the linkage, and the pedal still does not move! At least I know...

BX25D owners, and letter about loose nuts in seat!

I'm posting on this again for a good reason. Until two weeks ago, the " loose nut"" has been the only problem I've had with my BX. Some time around December 2014, I got tired of my seat coming loose, always at the most in opportune time. I got a nylock and installed the nut on the seat. Never...

    Pedal issue on BX25D

Ok, it did it again, for about one minute on the 27th. I turned it off looked at everything underneath, nothing. When I fired it back up to back it in the shop, it worked just fine. Has been working like the NEW tractor it is, till right now. I cleared the driveway and private road out to the...

Help Me Buy My First Kubota This Week

Have to agree with some of the comments so far. I looked at new VS used, ended up with a new K with a few extras, all at Zero interest. We have acerage, but only about 2 acres of lawn to mow, and purchased a big ride on mower as a stand alone, so I didn't have to deal with driving the tractor...

    Holiday Dinner

Just the two of us this year, didn't feel like traveling south and dealing with traffic, and travelers. Had a wonderful Prime Rib, twice baked potatoes, home made pies. I know I'll enjoy leftovers for lunch today

    Pedal issue on BX25D

Well I hate problems that are intermittant, but I just went out and plowed the whole private road to the main road, over s 1/4 mile, than did my driveway and parking area, than my neighbors driveway, with absolutely zero issues. I'm glad, it ran and performed flawlessly, but it's still in the...

    Pedal issue on BX25D

That is exactly what I was thinking, that some linkage had come loose or jammed. I was able to freely move the lever for the cruise control and the pedal for reverse. With the quick disconnect skid plate off, I can put hands on all the linkage, and everything moves freely, but is tight. It's...

    Pedal issue on BX25D

I'll throw this out there to see if it has happened to anyone else. I've taken off the FEL and Back Hoe, and installed the snow plow. I have about a long 1/4 mile driveway out to the paved access road. 4 passes with the blade and the driveway is beautiful. I get to a wide parking area and start...
