    Grapple

I have the land pride with my BX also. I really thought I would use it more, as I live in the deep woods. This thing is so effective I did what would have been two weeks work with a bucket, chainsaw and forks, in two half days. I was amazed and my back and knees appreciated not having to get on...

Things From Your Neck of The Woods

I miss Caribou Sausage, fresh caught Halibut and Moose Tenders. I'm 3,000 miles south now, so the weathers much better now too.

    Well I know it's a little early

Maybe I'm just off, but I moved to N Idaho to retire, and will never leave! It's perfect here, beautiful lakes, mountains and Forrest, not too many people. A few feet of snow in the winter is better than 100+ degree summers!

    What size ratchet straps

Something to think about more now, than what will hold your BX to the trailer, is keeping the trailer attached to your tow vehicle, good brakes and tires. I tow trucks, cars, tractors, lumber all the time with quality straps, not chains.( remember the poster is talking about towing a 3300 pound...

    What size ratchet straps

I tow my BX with straps all over, the key is to have GOOD straps. Don't use the cheapys with a hook, get straps and axle wraps ( like Macs) and use 4, attached to minimum 1/2" D rings at each corner of the trailer. Rated at 10K each, there soft, and wrapped around your tractor frame you rig will...

    Attachment for gravel driveway maintenance

Ouch, with those prices, do you have a welder? I made mine in about 8 hours, and don't have $300. Into it, that's with QD pins, metal and paint. Half of that was the AR500 steel for the blades

    BX25 trailer size

"OVERKILL IS UNDER RATED" Use a bigger, heavier and more solid trailer than you need, buy good tires, good straps or chains, get a real hitch and heavy shank ball. What is your life worth, or the lives of the innocent person you may run over?

    Attachment for gravel driveway maintenance

I maintain my gravel driveway and access road ( over 1/4 mile) with my home made land plane. It works AWESOME at removing pot holes, and re-distributing the gravel evenly.

    Bucket and other stuff paint.

When I take the loader and backhoe off for the year end and install the snow blade, I touch up the bucket and backhoe. I use Van Lingen paint from North40. It's only $3.99 a can for aerosol, quarts are $9.99. I also used it to paint the land plane I made, so all my goodies are Kubota Orange...

Does anyone have a BXpanded backho trenching bucket?

I just got an email reply back from BX, that the QD works no problem with the stick Kubota thumb. That's a major pain going from bucket to ripper, with the thumb attachment. It takes two hands to align, and one to put the pins in place. This QD looks like a great idea

Does anyone have a BXpanded backho trenching bucket?

I have the Piranha and skid plate from BXpanded, and they are awesome. My concern is I have the Kubota Thumb on the hoe, and it's a real PITA to change from the bucket to the trencher tooth without a third hand. Do you have a thumb on your hoe?

Does anyone have a BXpanded backho trenching bucket?

It may dig slower than a bigger or better piece of equipment, but when it's parked in my barn, I can dig anytime. Most things I could have done before I could hook up the trailer and make it to town! Had a buddy come over and help me with the trencher tooth, we buried 300' of electrical in a...

Does anyone have a BXpanded backho trenching bucket?

And or the quick change out from bucket, bucket to trencher tooth? It looks to be a great size, and I have a couple of their other products, just looking for an opinion from someone who has used it

    Taters

Guess I'm lucky to live in the state of Idaho. There's a fresh fruit/ veggie stand just down the road, I can pickup a 10 lb sack for $1.00, and I have to admit, those huge Idaho spuds are awesome!

Need a heavy duty tow hitch

Hitches and tow balls are cheap, safety and accidents are not. You can purchase 3 separate drop hitches,( not HF specials) get ones that take at least 1" shank hitches if not 1 1/4" shanks for each size ball. You can USA the same weight distribution hitch, change the ball as needed, and have a...

    First Tractor Advice Please

Gotta agree with the above comment on the backhoe. I knew I would use mine a lot, and now I find I use it even more than I thought! Once you do it a couple times, you can remove the hoe and go to 3 point implements in 15 minutes. I use the backhoe almost as much as the loader, and more than any...

    Trailering my new BX25D?

Something to always think about when towing Anything. The best trailer in the world doesn't matter if you use a cheap 3/4" shank ball on a harbor freight tow hitch. Also, you have almost double the towing capacity if you use a load stabilization system, I.E. Easy lift, Sway away, etc. Just get a...
