    Bought a BX!

We do have a large propane tank in place. We opted for a smaller gen set, its 14KW. Even though we have forced heat and A/C, satellite, big screene TV's, internet, we'll pump, we don't run everything at once. I opted to install a manual transfer switch to the breaker panel also. If power is out...

    Bought a BX!

Everyone hates taxes, so back to the BX! If you use the BX for trenching your water, power and septic lines, it is very Do-able, I have used mine for many. It takes a little longer than a big tractor, but it's digs great for a SCUT. Now digging a hole for the septic tank will be quite a task...

PHD / augers in rocky soil

My little BX PHD and auger can only put a 6x6" post 30" down, but I am totally amazed with how it digs in extremely rocky soil. That auger pulls softballs out and works great.

New Shooting Range with BX 2370!

Being from Massachusetts, I'm suprised they will let anyone there have a shooting range. You can always move to a free state! I've lived and worked all over from Cali to Alaska, I could never live in a big city again, or a restrictive blues state. Just me...

First Post - BX25D - Your Thoughts on Implements

I did order my BX with the backhoe thumb, and your right it is very handy, especially for moving large rocks and stumps. With the Grapple, I can scoop big piles of branches, brush, pine needles etc, and haul it to the slash pile. One or two things you may want right off is a set of rear wheel...

    Funny story

The Costco in town here has Green for gasoline and Yellow for diesel....Most other gas stations are black for gas, green for diesel.

    QH15 -Quick Hitch

I tighten my Quick hitch down tight with no play. It's usually for a rake or land plane on the roads, so firmer is better.

Made a Front End Loader dolly.

Those HF Dolly's work great as long as your rolling on concrete. I have made one for my FEL with the Grapple attachment, and one for the Backhoe. I have the Post hole digger hanging in the wood shed, and the Land plane and loader bucket outside. One day I'll make a dedicated building just for...

New Shooting Range with BX 2370!

One more project to add to my project list. I have an area along side my driveway where I wouldn't have to take out any trees, I coupled put in a 150 yard backstop, and shoot from the covered carport in front of my shop. I think I'll make a small area 50' and 50 yards to shoot from also. My goal...

    My BX is too fragile

When I built my A Frame cabin and shop in Alaska, I hired a local with a very large excavator. It cost $4k for removing 45 LARGE trees, truckloads of brush, and making a 3' tall raised area for building on. My point being I could have never done that amount of work with my BX, but once the hard...

First Post - BX25D - Your Thoughts on Implements

I live in a heavy wooded area in the North, and always seem to be dragging branches. If nothing else, I have a good feeling of security knowing that there is a skid plate in place. I especially notice that I go in deeper weeds and woods with the grapple scooping up down fall etc. I also learned...

First Post - BX25D - Your Thoughts on Implements

With the BX you have the two most used tools. A loader and a back hoe. I would recommend a skid plate first, wheel spacers for the rear help a lot. I love the piranha blade for your loader. A Grapple is an awesome tool, if you have trees, brush, trash to move or drag out of the woods. If you...

    Need bear input.

I have lived around and watched and hunted bears my whole life, they don't stack anything methodically. Did you look under the pile? Could be someone put some sort of "bait" or attractant under the pile, so they can view it from a distance, to see if it was disturbed

    Reloaders

I have a buddy that tried reloading the aluminum ones, with a very light load, a lot of them split, and he stated they did not like to be sized either. It's just not worth it in my opinion, and some guns don't even recommend using them new, there soft and have sticking problems in the chambers(...

First post, pulled the trigger on a BX25D

You will be amazed what that little BX can do. I highly recommend getting a skid plate asap. Protect your underbelly while out in the thick stuff

Check this video of the new stuff from kubota

I have a 2014 BX, and always enjoy seeing ( and purchasing) new implements and checking out the upgrades. It does appear that Kubota listens to the end user. I like the new loader levers, my older model has two manual hitch pins, which is really simple. I added the 3rd function setup, for the...

    Homemade land plane

The plane is 6' wide, and the blades are set to 1/2" depth. So in really soft material, the side rails keep the plane from digging down too deep. It's like a wood plane, you set the depth, and do small cuts at a time. On my gravel road, it cleaned the top layer off, rolls over the top of each...

    7/8" ID to 1 1/4" OD Bushing

I know the Tractor Supply here in N Idaho, is a substandard outfit. The local North 40 Supply is far superior, and does stock both sizes, and all of the extras if you need instant gratification, for just a few dollars more. EBAY has them cheaper and you can find free shipping if you don't mind...
