    Land plane

I use my land plane to groom my walking trails and quad trails too. Sticks and branches will clog it up, so take or cultivate out the branches. It works on all ground except when really muddy. .....and yes, your shop should be twice the size of the house!

New to tractors, looking at a BX, & need advice!

I ended up getting a BX25D because it was a smaller unit. I have 1 1/2 acres of just fairly flat lawn.( that need mowing) the rest of the woods stays in a natural state, except where I cleared 3 walking/ quad trails. 425’ gravel driveway plus 1200’ gravel feeder road that I land plane 1/2 mile...

Pull type leveling box scraper land leveler

I’ll second using a land plane. It planes the surface and redistributes the material into the low spots, by altering your path , side to side, then front to back, even on a diagonal you will do a great leveling job. Look at how an Auto body tech straightens a dented panel to make it smooth...

    Gunsmoke movie set

Logged over 2,000 off road only miles here in the last few weeks. The Grand Staircase is being opened up to the public, and there’s 3,000 square miles to explore. Been to the Montezuma caves, did the suicide climb, the moss caves, found hundreds of petroglyphs, in many different locations. Drove...

    Gunsmoke movie set

There’s a pretty good assortment of ages on this sight, those of you that remember the 10 year running TV Show Gunsmoke (1956-1965?) with Marshal Matt Dillon, Miss Kitty, Festus etc. I think there still running reruns on TV land. The film sight is near where I am wheeling in S Utah near all the...

    What RPM's do you use

Using the front mounted snow blower dawn 1400’ of driveway, it loves to run at 2600, and clears the snow 30 plus feet away. That’s barely using the accelerator pedal, just going along nice and easy

Anyone made an LED light bar holder?

I just got a roll of electrical tape and put a couple wraps on the ROPS where the brackets mount, for grip. Then cranked down a metal hose clamp on each base and it holds a light bar perfectly. If I need to change or move for any reason, it could be done in 2 minutes. You can get light bars with...

2ND Annual OTT, PNW, Kubota Games and BBQ Event 7/27/2019

What turned out to be one of the more popular events, was the “Blindfolded Quad Races” the driver is blindfolded, and has to “Listen” to the rear passenger, as to when to turn and throttle response. You can learn a lot about trust, in an event like this! A few hundred yards thru the trees, with...

Harbor Freight tools and stuff you like.

Re: Harbor Freight tools and stuff you like or dislike... For the $79. Price tag the HF Quick hitch is a great deal. I have used one for years, and it still works fine. Some implements are made for a 3 point with pins, so for ease of use on QH and NON QH ready implements, I added a 1”...

Harbor Freight tools and stuff you like.

Re: Harbor Freight tools and stuff you like or dislike... I like the HF moving Dolly***8217;s for moving Kubota Implements around on the concrete. One is good for small items, two are needed to roll around loader buckets and backhoes. Just add some scrap plywood or 2x4***8217;s.

2ND Annual OTT, PNW, Kubota Games and BBQ Event 7/27/2019

One of the most popular games ( timed) was the tire stack. The Grapple is an awesome tool, you pick up 4 tires lying flat, and move and stack them on a sheet of plywood..... without dropping one! If one or more hits the ground, your time stops, with you quantity of tires stacked. The winners...

    want to add grapple

I find I use my Grapple more than any other implement. I’m on heavily forested land, so there’s always spring cleanup. I also get firewood by the semi load, I can Grapple the logs over to the sawbuck right in front of the wood shed, which is a huge time and back saver. I unloaded two large...
