    Snowblower Shear Bolts

I have a can of silicone spray that I’ve used in the chute and across the auger and housing. It works great for 3 minutes, but it takes me at least an hour to blow my driveway to the main road. So it doesn’t last long..

    Tractors an Brush Burn Pits

Many of these posts make me think if I am being safe enough. I have 3 separate burn areas. The “pits” are only a foot or so deep, 8x8 and 10x10. That being said, I certainly don’t want to drop a tire in it while burning. I either hand feed, or if I’m using a Grapple, I’ll drop a load...

    Snowblower Shear Bolts

Wet snow really sticks to, and easily clogs the grate. I noticed it shoots out further also, with no grate in place.

    Snowblower Shear Bolts

You want to definitely want to check with your dealer to see what grade bolts you use. I know when I blow heavy, wet snow, it clogs up in the blower chute, and is much easier to clog, back up and blow out the impeller pin that shoots the snow up the extractor chute. I removed the grate...

    Shingles

I’m glad we got the shingles shots. Hopefully that’s one experience I won’t get to enjoy.

    Build Land Plane

There’s a few builds on here, with measurements. Best way to do it is find one for the size and weight of your tractor, take pics and copy it. That’s how I built this one. Copied a friends.

Harbor Freight quick hitch on BX 2350 (UPDATED)

Yeah, it’s only 25 degrees here. Nice and crisp out. It’s been a while since I added the top hook extension. I guess I made lots of spaced out attachment holes, to more fine adjustment of the hook. Didn’t need a third bolt, but my motto is “Over Kill is Under Rated”

Harbor Freight quick hitch on BX 2350 (UPDATED)

You can get a piece of 3/4” steel water pipe( I D ) and slide it over the top bolt, so it will fill up the space inside the U of the top hook. It gives you a wear sleeve also.

Harbor Freight quick hitch on BX 2350 (UPDATED)

Here’s some pics, which it sounds like you probably do not need , but keep it in mind for future purchases as you still may need to.

Harbor Freight quick hitch on BX 2350 (UPDATED)

I just went down to CDA Metal, and grabbed a scrap piece of 3/8 thick flat stock.i had made a cardboard template of what I wanted the finished pieces to look like ( 2 pieces) plus I took the hook and the two bolts. I had them tut to length and punch 3 holes in each, I slipped the bolts in...

Harbor Freight quick hitch on BX 2350 (UPDATED)

The only thing I would do is to extend the upper hook an inch or two outwards( back)

PTO Post hole digger auger coupling too large

Can’t you just make a sleeve 3/16 or 1/4” wall and slip the three together? I know new trucks with a large hitch receptical come with an adapter sleeve for using smaller hitches

So, now that winter is approaching.....

I love sitting in front of the wood stove in the AM having my coffee. It would be easy to just set the thermostat, but there’s just that radiating heat from a wood stove.

Rubber Scraper for LP RB1572 Rear Blade

Great job, and very heavy duty. I helped a buddy make a light version for the 4’ blade on his quad. North 40 ( like tractor supply) here has rolls of tread material, much like 1/4” thick tire sidewalls is various widths. You buy it by the foot off a large roll. We did 7” wide, centered the holes...

Measure the foot print of your FEL with the arms, and your backhoe I have lots of OSB and plywood scraps, 2x4’s etc. I used two ($7.99) HF dollies for each large implement , with the appropriate size piece of plywood screwed right onto the base of the dolly. when your using the implements, the...

    Grapple Question

My dealership installed my 3rd function kit and Grapple with QD for free, and I actually got a bit off the parts. Mine has 1/4” , and I believe it’s from the factory, just installed by the dealer. I did change ( reverse) one side M/F so they always plug in the correct way, plus when I...

    Grapple Question

I find I use my Grapple ( same tractor and set up as you) more than any other implement I have. I’ve been able to do so much more work, and get so much more done with the Grapple, than I could have imagined. It’s also gotten me involved in many extra projects that I would never have started...

    First dent and scratch

After you smack your tractor with a wrench, whack yourself in the head, so you know what that feels like too, so you won’t be a surprise when the first branch hits you. That makes no sense either.

    Grapple Question

Not a bad price, do you already have the third function kit installed on your tractor? That is an added expense, if not already mounted. They do make a bolt on kit for your tractor.
