    Mower attachment lever

Hello Tim, I hate when that happens :mad::mad:. I think that we all have done something similar at one time or another. I would have to believe that the lever arm is just a piece of cold rolled steel rod. You should be able to bend it back. Good luck with it!

    Mid mount mower PTO

I don't use my mid PTO on my B2650. I coated it with grease and slid a section of hose (sized to fit) over it. Who knows, it might be needed some time, and I wanted to protect it. 85Hokie's point about it being out of the way, is well made.

New clicking noise just showed up. L2501

For what ever it's worth, I have a "clicking" sound in the tranny. Disappears at higher RPM or when PTO is engaged. The best explanation I came up with is gear lash. The gears are "straight cut" and there has to be some room for gear engagement. That space can cause what is described as a...

Raising and lowering belly mower B3200

You New Zeeland lads must have a lot of stamina! Putting the deck on and off is a chore! Not mowing the Rugby pitch are you? It seems to be the most open space in your town (if that is the big green thing in the middle of town that shows up on Google Earth). At any rate, good luck, buck up, and...

Raising and lowering belly mower B3200

That is a good question, and I will have to defer to someone with more knowledge on the particular subject. I do not have a backhoe. But.................................in looking at your pictures, it looks as if part numbers 090 and 100 are in place. Each one of those parts has a small "return"...

    Do I realy have a B7100?

Hello Mike, You are correct, this is an active group, but more importantly, there are a lot of knowledgeable people who are glad to help you out. What I know about Kubota tractors (beyond what you find out in the manuals) I've learned from Messicks' videos, and people on this site. This...

Raising and lowering belly mower B3200

As previously mentioned, the MMM (at least on my B2650) is lifted and lowered by arms, rods and links that work off the three point hitch lift arms. In theory, because the mower is the "ground following" type of deck, you could unpin the deck, let it drop all the way down to ride on the ground...

Where to purchase decal set B7100

I had to buy some in small groups, and some as individual pieces. It was a bit of work to make sure that I had identified all of them. I bought them to put away for the time when I will need them, because you know that they won't be available by then. Use the parts lookup to find stock numbers...

    lx2610 SU

Carheir, I have a B2650 which is pretty much the same tractor, and have not had a problem with the fill cap. Could it be a defective cap? Certainly could be. Could there be a bad run of that part and it will be a problem for others as time goes by? Certainly could be. Maybe not likely, but...

Hello Carheir, this seems to be a good time to quote "Goodfellas" "Nah, nah, nah, nah, you insulted him a little bit"

Why do you use a toothbar?

I agree with all the Piranha tooth fans. I bought it because I wanted a cutting edge, and at the time of purchase, all the great reviews convinced that it was the way to go. It may be a little "pricey" but you will use it a LONG time, and it does a far better job than a regular straight edge...

    new top link for B2601

I had to replace a top link a while ago. Found one at eparts.com for $74.00. It was an EXACT match to the OEM part and much less costly. There is rather a lengthy thread on this subject. Do a search. https://www.eparts.shop/top-link-assembly-for-kubota-e-6c200-65400-1 Good luck with it!

Spray paint - Kubota vs Rustoleum pics

I've used Rustoleum "Farm and Implement" with good results. Is "Lobster Red" the same color? I know that it is sold as two different products.

    Bx2200 tires

For whatever it is worth (and perhaps you already know this), get the "gear ratio" from Kubota, so that you will know it if the new tires are correctly sized. The front tires should cover slightly more ground than the rears to maintain good steerage in 4WD. I was surprised to learn that the...

    Best Orange Paint for Snowblower?

Hello PNWBXer, I have used Rust-Oleum Farm and Implement paint. They offer Kubota orange, and I have found it to be a good match. You apply some now using a spray can to protect the parts for the rest of the winter. You could do a more thorough job in the spring. Good luck with it...

    L6060 4wd Gear Ratio

I said last word, but this was too good not to share https://blog.bridgestone-agriculture.eu/beware-of-the-lead-on-four-wheel-drive-tractors#:~:text=The%20recommended%20lead%20ratio%20is,shafts%20working%20in%20perfect%20harmony.

    L6060 4wd Gear Ratio

A last word on this subject. Pay attention to Lugbolt's post, he knows what he is writing about. I couldn't find a published reference to the "gear ratio" for my tractor anywhere, so I sent an email to Kubota asking for it. Attached is what they sent me, and it only took them a couple of hours...

    L6060 4wd Gear Ratio

Well, if your tractor had four wheel drive on/off, you use the first instructions I posted. You can "field measure" the distances the front tires cover with the FWD on, and the FWD off. Lead/lag should only be in play with FWD on. Maybe this helps.
