    Moving materials downhill with FEL

Hello Woodsy, I am thinking that it might be better to back down the slope! The bucket and its load would act as ballast to keep the front down. Just a thought. Good luck with your project!

Chin Strap & Grill Guard - Total Protection

I agree with Geohorn, they look well made. I have asked them to let me know when they will be available for my B2650. I will have to make a slight adjustment in the way I lift and lower the hood. Now, I reach in through the brush guard.

Factory Quick Attach FEL: when for B series?

I can't tell you exactly when the factory started offering it, but the QA was available on a B2650 in 2013.

L 3301 died in the field and won't start

Try starting with the fuel fill cap off. If it starts, and runs okay, you have a clogged cap breather. A blogged cap will cause a vacuum to build up in the tank preventing fuel from flowing out of the tank, and eventually stalling the engine.

    Toothbar ordering

Thanks, I will remember that for future reference

    Toothbar ordering

I have a B2650 with QA light materials bucket. I used 58 inches for my Piranha Tooth and it fit properly. Two things: Be ready for some drilling effort. My step drill was "done for" by the time I was done. Your are gonna love the edge. It makes any digging task much easier. It is also great at...

    Engine suddenly cuts out

This is kind of a long shot, but a blocked breather in the fuel cap can cause the same type of thing. The tractor runs until a vacuum is created in the tank, and then the tractor shuts down, or will only run at a rough idle. Try creating the issue again, and then pull off the fuel cap. It the...

LX2610SU How to set cruise control

Hello AFPhil, In thinking about this, consider the following: (assuming that the treadle peddle dead stop is properly adjusted) The peddle will allow maximum ground speed in a given gear range, at the set RPM. So, if you set the cruise control at 1500 RPM and then move the RPM's to 2500 RPM's...

LX2610SU How to set cruise control

Hello AFPhil, This video may shed some light on the subject. I believe that the the B and the LX speed controls operate in the same way.

    Hinges on Kubota ROPs

Thanks Lugbolt! I appreciate the corrected information.

    Hinges on Kubota ROPs

Next time you are going to where the tractor is bring an M8 x 125 bolt with you. It may fit. This is another Kubota oddity. The BX's I've looked at have the welded on nuts and come with a plastic knob/bolt to eliminate rattle. My B2650 has the welded on nuts, but no bolts. They are not...

New LX2610SU with dealer installed Cruise Control

Thank you Elliott The lockout for the control would probably be great for "running down the road", but think about doing back and forth loader work. It is not very practical to engage and disengage the lockout in that situation, but that is when you tend to look backwards. This was a hot issue...

    Zerk fitting

I keep grease fittings on hand. If it were me, I would just put in a new one and be done with it. The other suggestions will also work. Whatever way you go, it would seem that your question is answered. Again, good luck to you!

    Zerk fitting

Here is the swing frame parts diagram. Sure seems like a grease fitting to me. I would guess that the grease you are seeing came from a failed attempt to grease the fitting. Looks like whoever greased it the first time just pumped out grease over the top of the fitting. Maybe the best thing to...

New LX2610SU with dealer installed Cruise Control

I got into this post early on, and it would seem that Kubota Corporate should be very concerned about this having been done, but I have been surprised at Kubota's lack of interest in obvious safety concerns before. A lot of people have trouble with the "bucket" control lever on the ROPS B50...

Here is the speed set diagram. It sure looks a lot like the brake set diagram. Maybe print both and put them side by side .

New LX2610SU with dealer installed Cruise Control

Hello Dusty, The question is, "Does that sound correct?" The answer is "No!". I had to re-read your post to see if I had misread it. I would go back to the dealer and ask them what they were thinking of when they did it. Removing an important safety feature for any reason does not make sense...

Hello Robin, The attached video may be of interest. It seems that you have company with the hood latch issue.
