    Rear hydraulics

Stand alone certainly has its advantages. Mine is a vertical 3ph with a hitch at the rear so I can go into the woods with a tandem trailer as well. Split wood, throw into trailer, come out of woods and haul home with my 4x4.

    Rear hydraulics

Problem is that the B7200 has a two speed PTO which I operate at 825 rpm for the splitter. I use the 6 gpm pump that I interchange between the splitter and existing backhoe. I will be selling the B7200 eventually and the B/H will go with it including the pump. The LX2610 only has a 540 rpm pto.

    Rear hydraulics

The sales person investigated further and now says that the rear remotes for the backhoe will be able to operate the log splitter. My 3ph splitter is home made with its own pto pump and reservoir at present. I am considering having the dealer set up the log splitter as well before I pick up...

    Rear hydraulics

I am looking at possibly purchasing a LX2610 with cab loader BH. I have been told that the rear connections for the back hoe cannot be used for other attachments such as a log splitter and would have to get additional connections installed. Is this correct as I have been getting contradictory...

Picked up a nail in the rear - DIY Plug or take it in?

I frequently get holes in the front tires from hawthorn bush spikes. I have just plugged them myself from the outside without any issue. I have used slime in the past with out any success. Holds for a bit but put any weight on front end and they pop out. I also used it in my smaller jd345...

Heads-up on a zero turn upgrade

Not sure what kind of turf folks are cutting that creates dust and are able to mulch. I use my zero turn to cut about 7 acres of grass on average. If I mulched it would plug up the entire deck with packed wet clippings in short order. As far as dust, even in extremely dry conditions I do not...

    B7200 Seat Replacement

This is the seat I bought for my B7200. Had to make spacers to give it the correct angle. Bought it through a local Case dealer. https://www.concentricintl.com/product/530-compact-tractor-seat/

    B2601/BH70 Swing Arc

The only L series that has a cab is the L3560. It also has the mid PTO option that I require for my front mount blower. This is just too much tractor and HP for my needs. I want a cab just for snow clearing my 4000 foot long driveway. I prefer a cab that I can disassemble in the good weather...

    B2601/BH70 Swing Arc

I am at this point as well right now as I am considering finally replacing my 37 year old B7200 hst. I have been researching the LX series and am having serious concerns about them. On line I find folks complaining about pedal response, hydro noise and slow speed on travel. Even my dealer...

    Toolbox ideas for L4060HST-C

I recently installed a tool box on my B7200. I used an ammo box from Princess Auto up here. Should have done it years ago.

    mid-mount mower belt replacement

I went through this myself and tried other high power Gates belts obtained from a local supply house. They could also supply the proper oem belts in some cases but were just about the same cost as the dealer. My conclusion was to stay with the Kevlar oem belts from the dealer. I was replacing...

    B6200 question on leak

Those are just thread protector plugs to keep dirt from entering un-used bolt holes. You might have problems finding the exact ones. I removed mine when I installed my BH subframe.

    seal cross reference

In the past I have taken the old seal along with the exact dimentions of shaft etc. to my local bearing supply. They can usually match it up with a suitable seal.

    M8540 a/c

I have been retired from the industry for some time but up here it was the law that if there was a leak in a refrigeration or air-conditioning system that the leak had to be repaired or taken out of service. Mobile systems such as automotive etc. got away with been able to be recharged if an...

    B8200 water pump change out

As I said in the post the rad was removed. I am not presently at the tractors location but I think it might be able to be done without removing the rad. This was a few years ago and I think I was flushing the rad out properly and replacing the hoses so probably decided to remove the rad...

FEL Bucket tilt Drifts down over 2hrs

As I said in the above note the safety chains were attached so tiller can go nowhere unless the chain breaks. I know very well never to leave anything raised and unsupported. In this case it is supported. If I lower the control lever it will only drop a half inch to take up the slack in the chain.

FEL Bucket tilt Drifts down over 2hrs

Interestingly there is no drift in my 3 point hitch. This winter I used my tiller as counter weight on the tractor. I parked it a month ago with the tiller raised. It has not moved at all as the half inch of slack in the safety chain is still there.

    B8200 water pump change out

Replaced the pump on my 7200 a few years back. No noise but blade seemed to be wobbling. Checked and shaft had tons of side play. Easy to replace. Just takes some disassembly. I removed most everything forward including the rad. I periodically check mine now for play.

FEL Bucket tilt Drifts down over 2hrs

It was the main lift cylinders that I had re-built and only because they were leaking around the shaft. My curl cylinders would be easy to test since the hose's disconnect at the valve and have quick connects.
