    Bucket capacity

Capacity - Struck: 10.9 cu. ft. Googled it. http://www.bigskykubota.com/new_vehicle_compare.asp?veh2=394432&veh1=394402&go=Go

    Bucket capacity

I couldn't find the capacity on the tractor data site, I was curious what it was in my bucket. I found the capacity for the LA524 loader with the square 60" rigid bucket holds 7.8 cu.ft struck and 9.2 cu.ft heaped in the manual that came with it. The loader manual not the tractor manual...

My L3800 has them, thought it was a great feature.

    3200 vs 3800??

I've never operated the L3200, so I can't say I know the difference in the two as far as engine power. I thought that they were the same size frame with two different engine options? Where as the b series is has the smaller frame not the L3200.

    ROPS bolts

Mine were really tight too, I have to fold my ROPS down every time I put her in the garage. They loosened up after a while. I did find that sometimes I would have to realign them. The two pieces weren't exactly lined up causing a little extra friction, thus making it harder to turn the bolts...

AM/FM headphones for music and protection.

I just use my ear buds that come with my iPhone and I only listen to podcast. That's basically a radio show on whatever topic you like. I can still hear what's going on with my tractor. I'm going to say that it's not the best thing for my hearing though.

best deal you've ever come across

Not as good as some of the deals posted but I'll throw mine out there. I was probably 14 or so and wanted a dirt bike. I worked and had my own money and found one in the trader paper. 1976 Kawasaki ke175 for $375. My step dad took my buddy and I to look at it. I knew it was mine as soon as I...

    Taking the next step

Just my two cents here of coarse but a friend of mine would love to do something similar. He bought a used "dig it" a small backhoe and does work on the side while maintaining a full time job in a factory. Yes, he is about to work himself to death but he wants out of the factory and would love...

    Average age of OTT users?

The last time I figured it we were still at 52 years young. Looks like I didn't include the total and the number of members that had replied with their age in the last update. I'll have to go back to the update before that and recalculate, just don't have the time at the moment. Also I like to...

    L3800 or L3901 which one ?

Just realized I'm close to the 2 year mark with my L3800, somewhere around 230 hours give or take, been a few days since I've been on it. Thing I paid a little less for mine but like I said that was a couple yet as ago. I have a tendency to over think purchases like this, it's always about...

Well I didn't see this list prior to voting at 6:45am this morning, luckily I didn't vote for Dick Durbin anyway.

Overheating issue on L series verified

I had the same issue with my L3800 while mowing some very high grass. Mine did get hot but not to hot, I shut it down and cleaned the removable screen then let it cool down for awhile, all good after that. I do keep a close eye on it now though and usually I will clean the screen any time I'm...

Tractors can be greasy and kinda dirty...

I love grease for the protection it provides but I sure hate to get it all over me. Which is what I tend to do every time I grease my tractor. As far as gloves I use the kind that look like they have been dipped in rubber, not sure what they are called. I keep an extra pair of leather gloves on...

    Disking With / Without Loader

Personally I would take the FEL off and only put it on when needed, as bluegill mentioned. It is very easy to do and only take a couple minutes. The ride is considerably better without it too. I add weight toy disk and box blade. To put the 3pt in float put the lever down all the way. I see...

    FEL and Float

That's the same FEL I have and if you push the lever all the way forward it goes into float mode.
