Top this "Lost Key" story of mine!

GR8 story. No way I'd even try to top it :-)

    OK gearheads

Easy enough to do a compression test. Low compression? Add oil to cylinder. Compression comes up? Stuck or broken ring probably.

I'm an idiot and lost my keys. Now what?

I'm cross someone uncrossed my trailer chains while hooking up my greasy ball hitched Airstream that I lost the master key to while thinking about my Kubota's singular orange key. Better ? o_O

D722 sat for a long time won't start

I have a D722 (or maybe it's a D722E?) diesel in my TG1860 garden tractor. Not sure if it's exactly the same as "your 722" or not Chris. Probably similar at least. On mine there is only 1 solenoid for fuel cutoff. The lever it attaches to is spring loaded and is moveable by hand. Seems like...

Anyone made their own PTO Pressure Washer?

What Chad said. Pressure washers are so cheap, you'd likely be upsidedown by the time you designed & built a PTO powered one. If you're out in the "back 40", you probably wouldn't have access to an endless supply of water anyways.(and what would you be pressure washing "way out there" ? lol...

I'm an idiot and lost my keys. Now what?

I think I'm an idiot for not owning an Airstream....but I do have a universal key to open them all......⛏ (don't we have more important things to fight about guys....like how much rear ballast or how many inches of wheel spacers to use?) o_O

    B2320 deck won't lift

I don't know your machine specifically but some (like the BX) have a control knob for the drop speed of the 3pt and deck. It's down between/behind your legs (calves) normally. If it's adjusted in too tight, the deck and 3pt will not move.

Pickup truck loader (AKA boom pole)

Griz Why didn't I think of that? Excellent idea. (actually, for this particular "move" I was leaning the deck up against my shed and didn't have confidence in my PF SKILLS" that day, just after I got my forks.....so left very little to chance.

Pickup truck loader (AKA boom pole)

PF's are AWESOME!!! I'm sure I could rig this differently to put it in a pickup bed if I had to. As it was I was just transporting it from pt. A to pt. B

    Confessions of Kubota Owners

Would I prefer a cab? Sure! Can I afford a cab add-on? Meh...sorta but I see it as a luxury item for a BX. Even if I was GIVEN a cab, chances are it wouldn't fit in the garage door (lower than usual--long story--no it's not really practical to make it higher----don't give me all the...

Buying a Kubota tractor and building a Camp

VERY VERY NICE work indeed BX25D Rookie. I think I have around 400lbs on the back of my BX and it seems fine. I suppose if you ever were worried you didn't have enough, you could add a quick hitch and/or hang some metal off the rugged uppers (channel) on your ballast barrel. I like it !

    BX2350 won't start and I'm at a loss

Bad cables most likely like Jay says, but could also just be corrosion on the FAR end of the cables wherever they attach. (starter +, ground- on machine) Sometimes it takes very little to inhibit the flow of those pesky little electrons from doing their work.

All you smart AI guys, hams or anybody else

He did say "boom stick", which I took to mean 12ga. I'll go with haunted like a Furby. I wouldn't own one of those things. Had one answer me with a bizarre response when I was away on vacation and it was in a hotel room (part of the digital clock radio--never knew it was there.) Plop--unplug !

    ROPS adjustment

Drilling your ROPES err ROPS also voids warranty, horrible death, black helicopters circle your house, Star Wars guys show up, responsible for all the worlds problems etc. (what the other guy said that made me shoot water out my nose) You do what you like however. I ain't gonna stop ya ! I...

Pin on forks for an LA302 loader?

Thanks - I was moving mostly smaller trees, brush and some palettes with not much on them plus a big old roll of steel fencing. That sorta thing. I didn't do any welding. Between the huge straps and the eyebolts right up against the back/bottom of the bucket the pipes didn't move any at...

    New Pallet Forks

The first time a rear tire comes off the ground and the tractor you are sitting on leans heavily to one side, and you soil your undies you'd pay just about anything to have "SOMETHING" as rear ballast on the 3-point. Ask me how I know.
