Struggling during the last snow storm.

I feel your pain. I have only a small plow blade. I plow every couple of inches to stay ahead of the storms. If I let the snow get close to 10 inches my little B has real problems getting traction. Chains help.

    Property tax

If you believe the auditors, the lottery here pays for itself. The information for NY is online. I would have to ask the kid with the CPA to dig deep to get her view. https://edit.nylottery.ny.gov/sites/default/files/2021-08/final_NYSL_FS_2021.pdf

Just puchased 6 acres, now what??

Camper leak may be coming in from father away than suspected. We had a leak in the rear roof seam that traveled in the ceiling and dripped from shower fan. Costly error on my part. Just a suggestion, watch for ice dams. Freeze / thaw cycles can do some serious damage if it gets in a caulk...

    Property tax

Between NY State on line 'See though New York' database and my town/school open book policy it is rather easy to see where and how my local tax dollars spent. Property and school tax run just under 6% of my yearly gross. I really do not have an issue on how it is spent. The folks plowing the...

California to up its recycling game

Dilution is not the solution for pollution has been a mantra for decades. Cradle to grave tracking means tracking a chemical from the time it is made until it is disposed of. All aspects are tracked. It may be changed during manufacturing, put to a drain or up a stack. No matter what, you...

California to up its recycling game

Decades ago , us tree huggers at a big semiconductor plant, proved that our treated industrial/sanitary effluent was cleaner than the groundwater and ALL local drinking water supplies. When we tried to recycle into the potable water supply we were damn near hanged. Over a million gallons a day...
