Yes, we currently have 3 Jacobsens fitted with Kubota engines, we also have a few other manufacturers using Kubota engines.

    BX2200 Cranks but Won't Start

It clearly does if you’re bringing my original reply into your first post. You could have easily said what you had to with regards to helping the OP without mentioning mine.

    BX2200 Cranks but Won't Start

You’re stating that like I don’t actually know. I merely stated that if you suspect the solenoid to be faulty you can do a quick test at the connector leading to it, fact is if there is no voltage there then you know the problem is more than likely before the solenoid, if it were me I’d still...

    BX2200 Cranks but Won't Start

I’d have thought removing a block connector and testing for voltage would be easier but whatever suits.

    BX2200 Cranks but Won't Start

You can test the connector that goes to this type of solenoid, the internal plunger which has the pull hold function, there are 3 wires that feed it. Switched 12v (hold) cranking 12v supply (pull) and ground. If you suspect the solenoid to be faulty test the above to confirm whether or not it’s...

    BX2200 Cranks but Won't Start

As above it should really be at least 10v that gets there, anything from 10v-12v is ideal, 2v is no use. You can supply voltage direct to it just to see if it then starts and to rule that out. To rule out the fuel cut off solenoid see if you are getting fuel at the injectors, crack open the...

    Ignition switch

And the set up on the B2150 is an external fuel cut off solenoid which is activated when the relay no longer gets power, there is a capacitor that trickles out 12v over ten seconds. It gets 12v constant, 12v switched, aground and then the pin that feeds the single wire that goes to the...

    Ignition switch

The B2150 comes with both the manual pull lever which activates the cut off on the injection pump, there is also the fuel cut off solenoid and timer relay. Either your relay or solenoid is not working. As above you can use the manual pull lever.

    Z725 fuel gauge issue

As above it will be a wiring issue, shorted etc.

    L2250 coolant in oil sump

It’s based on temperature range, there is usually a chart showing the different viscosity’s that will work just fine based on the temperature range that the machine will be used. They will have the oil viscosity that they recommend but others that will work perfectly fine if used within the...

f2560 will start in crank position but won't keep running in run position

Dave those tests aren’t for the relay which gives power for a short time after switching the ignition off, those relays are for engines fitted with the external solenoids where they are activated for a short period once the key is turned off. The tests you’ve posted are for a pull and hold...

f2560 will start in crank position but won't keep running in run position

Depends on what solenoid you have. If it’s the single pin external solenoid then below will help you determine if it’s faulty. If it’s the 3 wire version that’s internal and has the pull hold feeds then above will help. Going by the thread title I’d imagine you have the internal 3 wire pull hold...

    Battery for BX2350

pretty much this, measure it up and make a note of the CCA etc, when you have a look at replacements they will have the dimensions and what the CCA is etc.

    BX2230 will not shut off

If you remove the connector at the timer relay you can test power going to the relay, there will be constant 12v, switched 12v, ground and the other pin is the one that goes to the solenoid, so between that one and the connector at the solenoid you can make sure there is continuity. If these...

    B2620 glow plug trouble shooting

I’ve had to replace 4 starters in the last two years on various machines that would bench test just fine but under load they wouldn’t work, swapped out for a new one and it fired up, same happened to me on my own car a few years ago and another car I had back in 2015.

    B2620 glow plug trouble shooting

I still don’t understand this, this is what made me think it must be a relay whereas if it had been mentioned that it did have a turn to preheat ignition then it wouldn’t have led us down the garden path, well for the ones that don’t have the schematic.

    B2620 glow plug trouble shooting

Yeah maybe for the 2620, That’s the joy of having the schematic. I have a B2230 here the now which has the ignition barrel that’s on, preheat and start and when the key is to the run position there is no preheat light, the preheat light is only when it’s turned to the preheat position.

    B2620 glow plug trouble shooting

Possibly but he says the glow plug heater light comes on the dash and my experience with the ignitions where you have to turn and hold it for it to preheat the light only comes when in this position.

    B2620 glow plug trouble shooting

Yes but he said in his first post that it doesn’t have preheat position on the ignition barrel and I can only go by what he says, if it were like the 2150 which I do know then I’d have said yes because you have to turn the key to that position and hold it there to power the plugs but he said it...
