What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

A friend came over with his excavator and log splitter attachment. Split and stacked some and made a good pile...around five to six full cords split.

Borrowed a friend's trailer...a little overkill, but did the job.

Arrived home from picking up new LX3310...end of April.

    Decided on LX3310, but....

We recently purchased a LX3310. Picked it over a LX2610 because of the PTO HP...19 with LX2610 vs 27 with the LX3310. And we did go for the cab for heat while snow blowing. We have a front mid-PTO snow blower (last Feb we had 5' of wet snow fall in 4 days)...PTO HP makes a difference when...

    Snow Blower Hydraulics

I received hydraulic hoses. Removed the diverter valve and installed new hoses from the 3rd function valve to the snow deflector cylinder. All works great...

    Snow Blower Hydraulics

Thanks. Seems like a good idea. I may swap over and see how it goes. If needed I'll add a pressure reducer. Being bidirectional, I suspect that only one is needed, and probably does not matter which of the two hoses it goes on.

    Snow Blower Hydraulics

I agree, deflection is the least used. However, there are spots on my property where rotating the shoot and changing the deflection at the same time would be great. Being new to this I'm learning and don't always know what questions to ask. Assumptions sometimes get us in trouble, and I...

    Snow Blower Hydraulics

Unfortunately, this is only the second snow blower that this dealer has installed. This dealer is in the San Juaquin Valley and they don't get snow! The tech installed the kit that the sales person ordered...neither are experts in this area and I was no expert either. Learning and no big...

    Snow Blower Hydraulics

On the yoke there are two red buttons that control the 3rd function. When the FEL is installed and the grapple is hooked up to the 3rd function I use these buttons to open/close the grapple. I was thinking that these red buttons would be used to lower/raise the deflector cylinder once I...

    Snow Blower Hydraulics

LX3310HSDC with LX2963 snow blower with hydraulic deflector...3 functions: snow blower up/down, rotate snow discharge shoot and hydraulic deflector for distance of snow throw... Last week I removed the FEL and installed the snow blower on our new tractor...to test and see how it all works...

    Hydraulic Fluid Over Filled

When I got home with the new LX3310 I checked all fluids. Engine oil was a little overfilled...I drained a little out to bring within the lines of dip stick. In addition, the hydraulic fluid was about an inch high on the dip stick...this is the dip stick in the rear. I drained the fluid down...

New Tractor -rear tire bead leak

Back from golfing in Palm Springs. The dealer's suggestion worked...the tire sealed, no liquid leaking and tire is holding pressure.

New Tractor -rear tire bead leak

Ok, dealer where I purchased (again, over 3 hours away) had me bring pressure up to 40psi (max pressure stamped on sidewall is 35psi). Initially lots of liquid leaking and in a minute the leaking stopped. Brought up to 40psi again and held pressure ok. They recommend 14psi in each...

New Tractor -rear tire bead leak

The manual indicates rear tires psi of 30. What is a safe over inflation psi to attempt seating the bead? These R14 tires are 6 ply. Thanks

New Tractor -rear tire bead leak

Is it possible that the beads can be seated now by over inflating?

New Tractor -rear tire bead leak

Yep, valve at the top and cleared fluid. Used a Milton air/water gauge... Thanks for your thoughts. I'll remove wheel and bring to local dealer to get it fixed.

New Tractor -rear tire bead leak

I think the bead is the problem...I may need to remove wheel and take to local dealer. Hopefully the two dealers will agree on solution...

New Tractor -rear tire bead leak

I picked up our new LX3310HSDC on Thursday...3.5 hours one way to dealer. Really excited. Tractor is excellent for our needs. One newbie question...I had the rears loaded with water and antifreeze. The right side rear tire leaks a little fluid. Maybe a drop here or there...see photos...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Haven't done anything to it yet...my friends at Garton Tractor are almost done putting it together. Hopefully next week I'll pickup. They are waiting for extended frame brackets for the BH77.
