    Garden question

What was the ground temperature when planted? If too cold for too long, the seed will just rot. Seem to remember that ground temp should be above 65°F to plant corn.

    Buying my first Tractor

L3301 should meet your needs. For my wood chipping, I saw up limbs/trees into bonfire sized pieces. Any limb/branch under 1" diameter gets flattened by the bush hog to decay or use as kindling. A wood chipper sounds like too much work.

    BORA wheel spacers

I would like to see a chart of the max tip angle of the tractor vs 1", 2", & 3" spacers. Also, they seem high priced. I think someone with a lathe could fabricate them for cheaper.

    CAUTION: New Scam!!

I get a robo call once a month from Rachael from Cardholder Services. She is concerned that my card has been hacked and needs my info to clear it up. Bless her heart.

Gotta think about who or what is monitoring these forums. Big Bro might be.

    Recommendations for a tiller?

You might want to wait until late summer/early fall to plant the new grass. About a month or so before the first frost would be ideal. Strong sunload and summer heat is not the best for new grass and it will require more water. In the meantime, consider the Softcal pellets or similar...

    DPF regeneration video

The video is much more informative than the owners manual and sticker on the wheel well. Thanks much for posting.

    Recommendations for a tiller?

Prior to me buying the Kubota, we had about 120 tons of topsoil spread to finish up against the new house foundation. The contractor used a Harley Rake across the entire yard and seeded/strawed. The topsoil was in short supply (COVID); the only thing they could get was a lot of clay soil. Not...

New Tractor Operator - Skill Building or Jump In Head First?

If you think that there are things you shouldn't hit while bush hogging, walk the area first. Watch out for tree stumps and large rocks. You might get a chance to use the FEL or grapple to move stuff out of the way.

    B2100 Almost Impossible to Start

Sounds like lack of compression if there is huge blow by from the breather tube. Compression is needed to ignite the air fuel mixture. What does the motor oil look like? If you have piston ring blow by, the oil will be dirty.

    Third Regen LX3310

One factor that I can think of is the frequency of starting the engine cold (off for a while). That's when diesels produce the most soot.

    2wd L01

The L01 tractors are not very heavy, so more traction is needed. I have an L3901, 4WD. I borrowed a 1 bottom plow and turned over the gardens at a depth of 10". The tractor has plenty of power, but would have trouble in all but very dry ground if only 2WD. Did some sliding around the furrow...

New to me BX2360 maintence find.

Sounds like previous owner doesn't understand the concept. There is always coolant flow at previous location. Lots of time at no or low flow at the new location.

    Mowing high gear

If you have clumps of grass, just run over it again. I have another mower, 42" deck, mulching plug in. I mow at 4". Most of the time I am in high gear mowing once a week. I slow down for extra thick heavy grass and mowing on slopes.

Another reminder to be careful with your tractor

My Grandad turned a John Deere Model 70 over on himself. Grandma found him dead. Not sure what happened, but he got out of the field and headed down a gulley.

    First regen at 16 hrs.

Auto regen worked with tractor not being worked.

    First regen at 16 hrs.

I had a couple of similar work scenarios where auto regen worked properly. One time, when not working, I left it in auto and raised the RPM accordingly and it eventually went to level 2. Was not cold outside.
