    LA 302 loader issue

For some reason I thought it was a factory hoe, not a 3 point mounted hoe. Yep... felling pretty dumb lol.

    LA 302 loader issue

Your 3 point should be the 1/4 inching style like my B7510. The lever should be auto centering to neutral when it hits the top of the upper arms travel. I'd guess your linkage is missing, not adjusted properly, and or return spring is missing as well.

Has anyone filled their tires with fluid and regretted it?

The front axle can take the weight of the loader. If it couldn't the oem would say no loader is allowed to be installed on the machine. The filled tires and rear weight helps with stability. The filled tires really help with traction and stability during all uses. Like mentioned before, not...

Has anyone filled their tires with fluid and regretted it?

Windshield washer fluid is pretty light, actually lighter then a gallon of water. Last time I checked washer fluid was getting close to the $4.00 per gallon mark and this spring I paid just over that for a gallon of rim guard.

Has anyone filled their tires with fluid and regretted it?

Most tire shops (at least around here) that arnt specifically automotive, do heavy equipment and tractors. They also fill tires so are pretty used ro working with bigger and filled tires. I typically just plug them myself. If I'm really worried about it, I'll drain the beat juice out, dismount...

    L2501 Modifications

This depends where your pyrometer is mounted. Pre or post turbo, and depending on the engine some cylinders have a tendency to run hotter then others. 1200*f pre turbo is typically considered "safe" although it will start to do damage if left there for long periods of time. Aluminum melts...

Has anyone filled their tires with fluid and regretted it?

Even the operators manual for loaders states tire ballast is good to have in addition to rear weight on the 3 point. It's no different then hanging weight off the front of the tractor when using a large 3 point implement. Id personally never go without filled tires. Unless your driving in pure...

    Stingy on fuel

Right on. Some of the best engines I ever worked on were Isuzu tier 3, common rail fuel system. They used egr, but it was a "light" egr system. Tier 4 the fuel consumption went up considerably with the addition of the dpf/doc system.

    Original rear Tires

I would assume so, that was pretty much what the tractors came with from that time period.

    L2501 Modifications

Amy time you lugg a diesel down its adding fuel to tey and compensate for the heavy load, thus the black smoke. Black smoke is partially burnt fuel. Adding the turbo increases the airflow allowing more available air during the same time the govenor is adding extra fuel to try and maintain rpm at...

    Water Well Advice

It has something to do with the earth's electromagnetic field and the water is a "void" in the ground. The "void" changes the magnetic field and the rods will cross. Did that a lot at the township to find abandon storm drains and sewer mains. Doesn't work for stuff real deep unless they are...

    Fords are junk

My uncle owns a 2001 f250 crew cab short bed. With a winch bumper and a 90 gallon fuel transfer tank in the bed, it still doesn't weigh 8klbs. I use it quite often to tow since it has a higher gcwr then my 96 f250, Which is a super cab long bed which scales 6400lbs. My dad's 2002 f350 crew cab...
