    BX 3-Cylinder Turbo?

Well if it makes him feel any better, I did go and review some of my old training material, tier 1 emissions was what brought us common intercooler use. Not tier 2. Guess I found my false statement. I apologize. Quite a lot changed in diesel engines from the early 90s till what we have today.

Give it a week or two, you'll be trimming trees and hedge rows with it too lol.

    just died while driving

My b7510 only shuts down for certain things normally it's a combination of the seat switch loosing contact and the pto or hydro pedal being moved. There is a few combinations for shut down, but I think it involves more then one switch in operation. It would be more likely you popped a fuse, but...

Best all around tire for your sub compact tractor!

The r-14 tires are very stable and have nearly an identical contact patch. I've ran several tractors from my small B7510 to larger agg tractors with them and wouldn't trade them for any r-4 pattern tires, especially if traction is of concern.

    BX 3-Cylinder Turbo?

Yud also be interested to know intercoolers we're added because of tier 2 emissions requirements. A engine doesn't need an intercooler if the turbo is sized properly. The cooler aircharge reduced n0x emissions. Look back at nearly all pre 1990 diesel engines. Not many had a intercooler unless it...

    Stingy on fuel

Just to clarify my thoughts. If you can't afford to put fuel in it, you should sell it. I don't care if it hogs 5 gallons an hour if it saves my back and gets the work done faster. Gotta pay to play. Same as everyone else. Since I can remember fuel prices have more then quadrupled. Still driving...

    Stingy on fuel

Couldn't care less how much fuel gets used. When it's empty I fill it up. Beets using a shovel and wheelbarrow.

    BX 3-Cylinder Turbo?

More air doesn't increase egt in a diesel. More fuel does, it's not a gas engine. A "rich" fuel condition causes high temps in a diesel. The exact opposite of a as engine. What @Vigo explains is partially true. Just the turbo with no added fuel is more or less a moot point. The extra fuel is...

    Gooseneck vs Bumper Pull

This is very much left up to the Individual officer on how they enforce it. It has been explained to me were good in combination with a class C up to 26k lbs, so long as the trailer is 10klbs or less. The issue arose as I have a 14k lb dump trailer. Now I don't know if it was right wrong or...

    Gooseneck vs Bumper Pull

Just a heads up, since I recently went through this. Any trailer over 10k lbs needs a class A cdl, and the truck needs licensed in combination and depending on what your foing you need dot numbers as well. Yes most the farmers are illegal, but most the cops won't say anything, or don't know all...

    BX 3-Cylinder Turbo?

Kubota offers some 3 cylinder engines factory turbo charged. D1105 comes to mind off the top of my head. Now converting is a bit different then add on turbo. Gains are directly proportionate to boost pressure and the engines ability to fuel for the extra air. (Not taking into account mechanical...

Purchasing Grand L3560 Limited Edition - is this a good price?

Just a thought on a 4 in 1 bucket. Had one on a jd 310 sj with the total control package. Wouldn't have given it up for any other type of bucket or a grapple. We did a ton of work at the township with it, was great for almost anything. Ours at least had no issues moving logs or brush. Not as...

    New to me B7610

I would hazard a guess most of them were either automatic glow plug or direct injection. The more modern electronically controlled diesels may have glow plugs, but they are pretty much automatic. Bigger engines typically employ intake heaters or don't have a pre heat function. Kubota as a rule...

    Kubota d1105t governor issues

You have a govenor issue. The fuel shut off manually moves the rack to it stop position. The govoner in generators and tractors are the same. As a matter of fact the d1105 is rated for 3600 rpm in gen set applications. This is adjusted with the same fuel lever that we use for a variable...

    Removing Emblems

Have had and owning several old tractors I typically take good pictures with a ruler for scale and go to the local decal shop. He has some amazing equipment for duplicating them. I have had very good luck doing this and it typically costs a fraction of dealer price and no worries about them not...
