Which box scraper and rear blade ?

I don't have much to add, other than Land Pride makes different series of blades of same size. From lighter duty to heavy duty, so you just have to pick your budget. But as other have said make sure they are wide enough to cover your tire tracks, and that means the rear blade at angle. I also...

One of my wheels fell off of my B2650 hydrostatic drive.0

A good dealer, like mine will give you all the manuals on a thumb drive for free. They only charge for the paper books.

Are the diesel rtvs really that slow?

For those wondering about the RTV's, it is hard to judge steepness and grade in pics, but here is the layout of one of my bush roads. With the dump bed of my RTV-X1100C fully loaded with pit run gravel and AC on, slowest I've seen climbing these is 7 MPH. When it's fully warmed up I've seen as...

Are the diesel rtvs really that slow?

I'm a business owner and an equipment trainer. Trust me, lots of employees only know one thing....hold it to the floor and smash through stuff as hard as you can, LOL

Are the diesel rtvs really that slow?

No whine from my RTV-X1100C. Even in high pulling hills loaded. Whereas my B series tractor whines. I will admit though....Kubota brags in their brochures how quiet the cabs are. Well, loafing along the trails up to maybe 12 MPH they are quiet inside. Easy to have a conversation. But they do get...

Are the diesel rtvs really that slow?

Well they work well in our mine, and the ramp is steep and miles long. Most people think you hold them to the floor when in fact if you let up on throttle they will recover and start pulling again.

    Changing Super UDT2

I understand. I just like to try and not discourage newbies when they are trying to afford their first tractor. I like to promote what the little affordable ones can do. They really are workhorses. We all had to start somewhere. And as a plus, used Kubota's get you the same price you paid for...

    Changing Super UDT2

Do you mow your finished lawn alongside you house with your M? LOL Those are the only posts I am bashing here.....when the OP says right up front they have a small yard and need to mow their lawn. Then everyone has them talked up from a BX to a Grand L 6060 cab, LOl

New Tractor Advice for a newbie please

For sure. If I had a mini ex I'd still need a tractor. But back when I bought my backhoe just before they released the biological on us, you could buy a decent size Kubota mini ex with a 26 horse engine to skirt the emissions for 40 grand. But those days and prices are LONG GONE.

New Tractor Advice for a newbie please

Backhoe is definitely better than a shovel, but I wish I would have took that 10 grand and put it towards a mini ex. Far more productive.

    Changing Super UDT2

Obviously, but I still laugh at all the suggestions for moving from a BX or B to an M to mow a 2 acre lawn, LOL And I do have larger tractors, I just don't use them to do all the jobs my B will do.

    Changing Super UDT2

Also another reason I don't subscribe to the "buy bigger" theory. I buy machines sized to their purpose, so now as in the case of my most used tractor (the B2620 that does all the mowing) I'm not changing huge volumes of oil when I service.

    Changing Super UDT2

And how many people are careful enough (I am) to perfectly clean their couples before they plug in their remotes. There's another path for contaminants. I'm on the side of changing all my fluids often. Oil is cheaper than parts or machine replacement.

    Lx2620 hst noise vs 2610

Oh nice! Maybe I should go try a new LX2620. I'd be interested if it didn't have that horrible whine the older series had. I couldn't stand listening to that all day in a cab. I don't want to buy anything new over 26 horse. I'm not doing the regen thing ever again. I got my 67 Ford diesel to do...

Are the diesel rtvs really that slow?

I think that would apply more to descending hills loaded or while towing.

Are the diesel rtvs really that slow?

Well I'll let you know when mine dies because I never use the brakes. Never used the brakes on my 2013 B2620 either. I don't see how you could use the brakes? The hydro stops them so fast you would literally have to lock up the wheels with the foot brake, LOL

    Extreme Newbie w 5 Acres

Okay, now ignore all the "buy an L, M, 600 horsepower ag tractor" unless you have a ton of money you want to spend. Then go for it. But a BX or B will do everything you listed on a small 5 acre lot. Then you'll have a nice light machine for mowing that won't damage your finished lawn, will be...

New Tractor Advice for a newbie please

I forgot to add when I typed my post, "bigger is better" is fine if you want to spend the money. Or run a baler, or lift really heavy stuff. But I remember the OP saying he was trying to keep to a budget, and so far there hasn't been one task on my acreage that my little B could not do. But...

    Quick Hitch

I have Braber Equipment (BE) quick hitches on my Kubota B2620 since 2013, and on my 67 Ford 3000 diesel and have not had a single issue with them. They have adjustable top hooks and look identical to Land Pride and were exactly half the price.

New Tractor Advice for a newbie please

I responded to you on the other site, but since you are here, here is my thread of pics. Like I say, everyone wants "bigger is better" but a B2601 will do everything you need. https://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/threads/my-b2620-pics.33871/page-3
