Help with lever and fulcrum math

Being that the 21" arm meets in the center of 2 3/8 total wheel spacing with 1 3/16 from center to wheel on top, and 1 3/16" from center to wheel on bottoms, would the force on each wheel still be 1414.7 lbs or 707.3 on each for a total of 1414.7? fyi, here is a picture of the "c" channel that...

Help with lever and fulcrum math

I am fabricating a lift mechanism for my L2501 and was hoping someone with better math and engineering skills than I could help out. I am attaching a drawing that should explain what numbers I need. Or what would be the formula? The 21 inch bar will be attached to a trolley at right angles...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Used my B7100hst to pull a Dew Drop Drill (no till grain drill) made by Little Sioux Prairie Company to plant a small (less then a acre) area behind the house with native grasses and forbes (wildflowers). Thanks to US Fish and Wildlife and my local Pheasents Forever chapter.

Brand new L2501 tie rod falls off

after looking at things a bit closer I also wonder about if this center linkage is installed correctly . to me it appears that plenty of splines are left and the large nut shows internal threads, meaning the shaft is recessed into the nut. I am used to when a part is engineered that the shaft...

Brand new L2501 tie rod falls off

I took delivery of a L2501 and moved it in my garage. Today I backed out for the first time and to my surprise the right front tie rod fell off were the tie rod end is secured to the steering knuckle part of the front axle. (sorry for poor nomenclature). No damage to the threads of the tie rod...

    L 2501 hand control build

My new L2501 was delivered today and thought some might be interested in my build as I modify the hydro and clutch for hand control use. I have a B7100 that I fabricated and installed hand controls about 10 years ago and they have worked very well. I did want to note a disclaimer. Everyone's...

1996 Kubota B7100 HST Snow Blower Question

I have a 1997 B7100hst with midpoint pto. I purchased it used in about 2009 without a snowblower. After searching for a few months I found a used blower and most of the under carriage parts. All the dealer was able to tell me was that he "thought" it had come off of a B7300 I drove the 100...

Back from the dealer, inspected and took care of the business end. I should have it at my house in the next few days now. I did spec out the tractor with Landpride dealer installed third function. I have been looking at a lot of different grapples and will make a decision soon. I suspect...

    lighter duty tree shear recommendations?

All great advice and suggestions! Thank you for taking the time to post. I have considered most of these options at this point, and until I get the tractor on the land and start testing the waters I will not know for sure what option is going to be the best. I do have the time to work on...

    lighter duty tree shear recommendations?

Thanks for the thoughts and recommendations! The Mini Clip is a very nice looking piece of equipemt. It is out of my price range and has capabilitles that I will not need such as pruning. I had thought about a tree puller as the Scots pine are in sandy soil. I was able to push up to a four...

    lighter duty tree shear recommendations?

I will be picking up a new L 2501 this week, fitted with loader and third function. Can anyone recommend a tree shear for the loader quick attach , light in weight, light in cost? The vast bulk of trees I want to shear will be Scots (scotch ) pine with a max trunk diameter at the base of 6...

I have a long blacktop drive and I also take care of my next door neighbors gravel drive that is also in the 250 long range. I have a 50 inch front mount blower and a 6 foot back blade...
