We aren't going to make it much longer

100 year floods...how long do you suppose the earth been here and had various weather events? Our weather statistics go back 150 years or so if I recall. The earth is just fine, burn some fossil fuels, drink some beer and enjoy life for Christ sake!

    Kubota Quality

I happen to find Kubota quality to be excellent! The manufacturing processes of today's world have given us some amazing products. As I grew up on the farm using machinery built in the late 50's thru early 70's I was happy to have machinery to use, but by today's standards for comfort and...

    Kubota Quality

It seems like the "I can't do anything for myself and I am going to put every drama filled thing in my life on the internet" crowd is growing! Some people weren't slapped enough as children.

    Took the Plunge Today

How have you been? What size plow are you going to pull? I found an Oliver 546 4-16s a farmer just wanted rid of it, it was in a machine shed and the moldboards were greased, it scoured right away. I am glad I have the extra weight, some of the ground is fairly heavy.

Im buying my first tractor. I want a M5 111 with 4 wheel drive

The Kubota M5 series of tractors are a considerable step up from the M4 or M7060 tractors. If money isn't a concern, the 24 speed transmission is a good option, it gives you electric control of the 4WD engagement, much handier than the manual version on the 8 and 12 speed machines. If you are...

    Hydraulics for boom arms

I built a sprayer that uses hydraulic cylinders to raise and lower the booms, as the boom comes up, the spring return ball valve shuts off fluid flow to the nozzles on that boom.

    2016 M5091 140 hrs Def quality code

I have a 2020 M5-091, when it was delivered to the dealer it had a note attached to it saying DEF header rework had been completed which indicates there was an updated header installed. Last summer I got an email telling me that there was a service campaign to replace the DEF header as well as...

Take it from me, you can't go wrong with multiple Kubota tractors!

The reality of selling a late model used Kubota in today's market.

I will not drive several of my trucks on salted Iowa roads, there are two trucks that we use in the winter, none of my tractors go on those shitty salty roads either, the salt is just too destructive. I believe the idea of using salt on roads was hatched in hell and brought to us at the hands...

    MX6000 next to an M5-111

If I buy a few more tractors, hell I could produce a poster of the different size tractors!

    MX6000 next to an M5-111

Well I believe the M5 is somewhat heavier, the loader has considerable more capacity, the cab is bigger, three point hitch capacity is greater, front axle seems heavier and noticeably more horse power with the M5-091 over the M7060. The M7060 had 16.9 Radial rear tires vs 18.4 Radials on the...

The reality of selling a late model used Kubota in today's market.

Well it seems like that worked out well and you feel good about selling it to good people, that is a win all the way around. The way you plan to treat the sold tractor gives me the impression that you are a class act! Back in 2016 I sold my L2900 to a local couple, I changed the engine oil...
