    b7200

That is extremly difficult to say without seeing it and haveing previous experience. I've got a customer in the shop now with an 03 avalanche who complained of a loud grinding noise in the trans sometimes. I pulled the pan and found some fine metal and a few slivers, not enough that I would be...

""Also if the front plug is bad should i change the rear also. If so what is the best way to do it remove the motor and go trough the back or pull the head and and valve train and remove the cam that way?"" On all engs I've worked on , the rear cam plug is the size of the cam and if it is...

    B7100 oil psi

Question?? Are the holes you are talking about in the center of the cam. In the picture, it looks like 2 very small holes, .090???

    B7100 oil psi

looks like you and I are fighting the same problem. Your'e just farther along. Look up the post, low oil pressure, L235 and see the info there. I haven't been inside my eng yet so no insight there. What I find strange about your post is that the light is off at idle and comes on as eng speed...

    no fill plug,frntwheels,L235

Finally found it. I removed the wheel and it was recessed on the outer gear houseing and the wheel wraped around it, hideing it. Once I found it, I could actually see it with the wheel bolted on, but it was tight getting the gear oil in it. Thanks for the responces.

    no fill plug,frntwheels,L235

Workshop manual, front axle assy section, Page s.5-10 , item 9 is a seal that stops gear oil from moveing down to hub assy. The only way I see right now to get that oil back in there is to turn the tractor upside down!!!!!

    no fill plug,frntwheels,L235

I've filled the center diff with the correct amount of gear oil. The hub drain plugs are still out. I'll walk back to the shop and see if any new oil is comeing out the hub drains. Thanks

New B6100 and the Oil Light comes on

You can remove the oil sending unit and screw in a manual pressure guage to verify the pressure. My 235 is metric threads so I hadto use an adapter to use a guage with 1/8 pipe thread. I think you'll find the pressure drops to 5 to 7 lbs at idle. Not good. Read the thread/ low oil pressure/...

    no fill plug,frntwheels,L235

Yes, page 32, item 10-5. The fill plug that's in the picture is NOT there. There's not even a boss on the houseing that I can drill. See the 2 bolts right above the fill plug that hold the upper ball joint to the outer houseing? wonder if one of them is an open hole to the gear box? I'd have to...

    no fill plug,frntwheels,L235

I was changeing the gear oil in the front diff and frnt wheels. After draining both, found the fill plug for the axle/diff but where the fill plug is supposed to be for the frnt hub assy, it is not drilled and no plug is there. I've looked through the manual to be sure what I'm looking for. It...

    low oil pressure L235

I finally got some extra time and dicided to pull the pan off the eng hopeing to find the cam plug in the bottom to confirm that is the problem. You can forget that.!!! There are 2 bolts on the front of the pan that are above the houseing of the front diff, only about 1/16 of an inch clearance...

    low oil pressure L235

I forgot to mention the threads for the oil sending unit on my tractor is metric. Most prssure guages are 1/8 pipe thread. 1/8 th starts in the thread but starts getting tight within 1 turn. I have an adapter from working on foreign vehicles that allows me to use the 1/8th thread on my guage...

Kubota L245DT blowing smoke from little tube that hangs from engine

I'm not familiar with that tractor but, if that tube you are referring to goes to the crankase, it's called a draft tube. It takes the the spent gases from the blowby and exhausts them to the outside. If you're getting a lot of smoke, it means excessive blowby, caused by worn rings, cylinder or...
