    I have an L235 with a 5ft bush hog and a 6 ft blade. I don't think the tractor will pull a 6 ft bush hog. The 5ft in heavy grass has to run in 1st,(not 1st super low). If the grass is not too thick, I can really move on in 2nd.

    gmtinker, we are both lucky men. I had a co build the 20 by 40 metal building but I designed and built the doors my self with the HELP of my wife. But, she's already started moveing some of her garden stuff into it. Guess that's why she agreed to buying it.

    Just make sure the clutch is depressed when slamming on the brakes or doing the chained to a tree thing.

    Special tool for Oil Pressure Sender?

    If you're planning on replaceing the unit, maybe some vise grips or large channell locks to get it off. If the wire is not held on by a verry small nut, you can cut the wire and put a female spade connector on it that will slide on to the new pressure switch.

    Had the exact same problem recently and had a bad water pump. The pump wasn't leaking but was not moveing the water good enough for cooling. Same eng you have.

    Thanks for the info. I plan to install a temp and oil guage permanantly also. But, I've still got the low oil pressure problem to fix first.

    glad you got it fixed but,,,, was it the filter??? Where did that small blue line go in your picture? The pressure guage? Why was it only showing 3 psi with the filter off??

    I doubt you can sodder it. It has been soaked with oil and ther is oil behind the plug. Will start to boil and splatter when you get it hot. Those are probably splash lube holes for the front gears. Just a guess.
