I just had an idea. Wonder if we can get that one bolt on the oil pan above the axle by removeing the 2 bolts beside it, then useing an air powered hack saw to cut the head off. The pan would only have to drop down 1/8th inch to slide off the stud. At least you could ck the oil pickup screen...

Make sure the hoses from the tank to filter and pump are tight. It could be sucking air into the line. Make sure the fuel shut off valve is not barely on.

Did you still have the oil filter mounting houseing offf when you started it? Oil should have squirted out the side. If no oil came out, then it's oil pump or screen and tube off. The oil (idiot) light comes on when pressure drops below a specified amount, usulally around 4psi.

On my L235, the throttle lever only returns the eng to idle. There is another little lever with a finger hook,( a place to hook your finger on the lever), you put your finger in that hook and pull up. That shuts the fuel off to the eng. Definantly change all fluids and find all grease joints...
