Ford tech...Same thing here in my industry. Everyone fixing vehicles which makes long times for repair. Some vehicles over 300000 miles. Did one last week with 476,000 miles. When my lot gets full, I have to just start turning them away.

Now , stop and think. What if the hackers had stopped an electrical grid somewhere??? You can't store 110 volts of electricity. Utter chaos within hours. I really do think this is going to happen someday.

I've been trying to find help for 2 years. Went to the local tech school, talked to the instructor, no one showed up. Called back, talked to the office that tries to get there graduates jobs. No one called , not even for an interview. I gave up, went up on my prices and started working 12 hours...

The problem is,,, the seals shrink over time. Sometimes they seal , sometimes they don't. Being an automotive transmission mechanic, I pulled my cylinder off, disassembled it and went thru my extra seals and found some the right size. 6 years ago and still working and no money spent.

speaking of critters,, I just noticed a ground hog near one of my buildings today. Are they a problem???

Add all the bad side effects up and they come no where close to the over 500 million dead in the US alone from coved.

And to add insult to injury, if you have a saveing account that you don't use much, they can consider it abandoned. Don't know what the time is , but I almost lost mine. Had the account since I was a teenager.

The aisin was only in the cab and chassis trucks. If the data plate has (INCOMPLETE) stamped on it, it is asin. Good heavy duty trans but very expensive if it needs to be replaced,,, $8 to % 10 thousand .

Just got another Chevy Silverado with the 6l80 trans and torque converter failure, 107,470 miles. That's 3 this week.

For any of you guys that have the chevy trucks with the 6 spd (6l80 or 6l90), do yourself a $$$$$$favor. Before you get 120 thousand miles on it, take it to a reputable transmission shop and replace the torque converter with a billet after market one. 9 out of 10 vehicles that come into my shop...

Automobiles have a 50,000 mile warranty on emissions parts,,,,maybe also on tractors???

As dismith stated, automobiles ( gas) have an external fuel filter. The one in the pump is called a (sock), it's usually just a screen to keep out any part that is large enough to stop the fuel pump from working.

Anyone have any knowledge or experience with these.

I agree with the seals leaking.

In most hydraulic (oil ) systems , there is a pressure relief valve, sometimes just a ball and spring. If something gets under the seat of the ball, it will leak pressure, especially at idle. Make sure you check that before you spend all this time and money .

They definitely have lots of shoes but at least our tools make money.
