They've had TONS of issues with the DEF tank sensors. Make sure you have the latest one. Keep the tank topped off is the biggest help.

How high of an engine speed are you engaging the clutch PTO?

Here is going to be my guess as to what the problem is. The seals circled in red have allowed fluid to pass by, filling the inside of the piece circled in blue, causing a hydro lock situation.

If you start watching around 16:00 mark, you'll get a good idea on what you'd need to do to remove the valve.

Look for a shut off valve in one of the heater hoses.

The 3pt might have a little rust in the pivots keeping it from going down on its own. Have you tried adding any weight/standing on it?
