I see the black wire now. Can you post a closer picture? That might need to be where the yellow wire in your previous picture needs to go.

Continuity from ignition switch to that wire would indicate that the safety switches are working like they should.

BX owners, is there any chance the 3-point arm could have been pushed far enough under the tracker to hit the fuel pump or fuel line? Scratch that...after looking at the pictures, it doesn't look like that would be possible.

After rereading your post, my initial thought and reason for asking about the fluid, went down the drain. The white smoke would be from unburnt fuel or possibly coolant. If you had an injector sticking open and dumping fuel, that would create the misfire and smoke. The governor in the pump...
