    Morton Building Project - NH

If you have the room for it, I'd leave all of the panels on the ground. Ease of maintenance and no extra holes in your new roof. If you can swing it, an adjustable rack that will allow you to change the angle of the panels throughout the year will greatly improve your efficiency.

    2001 BX2200 won't turn over... relay (re-)wiring question

Not the white plug, but the black plastic that is wrapped around the battery cable going to the starter. Remove part of that plastic and see if there is a wire hiding behind it.

    BX 2630 shaky start/stop

It's a 3 cylinder diesel. It is going to shake a bit. Might look over the motor mounts and make sure they haven't disintegrated.

    2001 BX2200 won't turn over... relay (re-)wiring question

Once you get all of the switches figured out, you'll need to see which wire down by the starter is the correct wire. All you have left down there is the black wire. Have you pulled the ribbed plastic off of the battery cable going to the starter to see if there is something hiding behind there?

That looks good. Did your battery charge up enough to start it today?

    2001 BX2200 won't turn over... relay (re-)wiring question

You could cut the wires on either side of the plug and butt connect them together or use a male/female spade connector. Using a spade connector would allow you to hook directly to the relay or straight to the starter until you track down the wiring through the switches.

    Problem keeping BX2380 running

You should tell your husband to go make dinner while you mow the grass. If he complains, tell him no pretty necklaces for Christmas. :censored::D

    2001 BX2200 won't turn over... relay (re-)wiring question

The relay will work if you can find out which wire is coming from the safety switches. Wiring it directly to the ignition switch's green wire will bypass the safety switches. I wouldn't spend any money on buying the safety switches until you can determine which wire it is that is needed to...

    2001 BX2200 won't turn over... relay (re-)wiring question

One last thing, since the wife is busy.... You can run a wire straight from the green wire to the starter's small post (where the black wire was before) and eliminate the relay completely. If you want to check the safety switches, leave the green connected and check for battery voltage in and...

    2001 BX2200 won't turn over... relay (re-)wiring question

I deleted that last message of mine. I found where the white wires you have connected needs to go. Leave them connected. Whatever you can do to charge that battery up, do it. No need to be in a hurry for me. If you want to leave the smaller charger on overnight, that should work. Here is...

    2001 BX2200 won't turn over... relay (re-)wiring question

Use the old school charger to get your battery volts back up. The newer battery chargers are finicky about supplying voltage to batteries with low voltage while the old school chargers just charge without issue. You can buy one of the smaller boosters if you'd like.

    2001 BX2200 won't turn over... relay (re-)wiring question

You could use the small charger to bring the battery back up over time, but it will take a while. The battery packs are nice to have in case of emergency, but the larger amp battery chargers are better for a dead battery. ****** If you want it to start now, turn the key to on, connect the red...

Post 19 has a schematic on how the relay works.

    2001 BX2200 won't turn over... relay (re-)wiring question

I went back and re-read your original post and seen that it was like that from the beginning. Alright, now the question is.... Do you want this to start using the key and insure all of the safety switches work? -Or- Do you just want it to start?

    2001 BX2200 won't turn over... relay (re-)wiring question

Yes, but now I'm wondering if the black/white wire might have fallen out of the connector, and someone stuck the green in there by mistake. Or, if that was their fix for a bad safety switch.

    2001 BX2200 won't turn over... relay (re-)wiring question

At a minimum a 6 amp. But, if you have the $$, bigger the better. I see that switch now has a black w/ white stripe wire on it. By chance, is there a black w/ white wire anywhere near the ignition switch wiring?

    2001 BX2200 won't turn over... relay (re-)wiring question

That little 1.5 amp charger likely won't charge fast enough. Have anything bigger?

    2001 BX2200 won't turn over... relay (re-)wiring question

That green wire will lead to the first safety switch. The wire coming off of that switch might be a different color though. Can you find which switch has the green wire going to it? Don't forget to put the battery charger on.
