What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

It's not "split in half" in the sense that it broke, it was intentionally taken apart, for clutch replacement.hope that clears it up. But yes the grease seal is something I wish I knew about beforehand. I did download the wsm at kbooks but printing it has been a challenge.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Happy Fourh weekend everyone Split the b7100 in two to do the clutch . Having a fun time trying to get the pilot bushing out anyone got any tips or tricks? and also wondering how crucial the grease seal for the pilot bushing is? The old one wasn't in great shape and less great after I removed...

4wd b7100 manual trans, clutch. Update #2 it moves under its own power

Next question? Is there an oil seal between the pilot bushing and the clutch /pressure plate assembly? I'm also having a real tough time getting the pilot bushing removed from the end of the (crankshaft?) Is there any secrets to this besides a lot of patience basically have resorted to using...

It's not the gpm of the pressure washer it's the suction they create, which can wreak having on softner and filter beds, it's also not the cycles of the well when filling a pool, although that isnt great. Properly installed softners use a meter that is made to countdown from x to 0. Filling a...

I think that's what he meant, but you are correct, treated well water is superior becuase it doesn't come out of a man made reservoir, and in reality takes far less man made manipulation to make it "perfectly clear" Edit: you should never (there are exceptions to every rule) fill a pool or...

I stand corrected I don't have any professional knowledge of pools just drinking water, and figured if >1ppm was safe for consuming and killing bacteria in drinking water it would be safe for a pool, but I can admit when I'm wrong

4wd b7100 manual trans, clutch. Update #2 it moves under its own power

Clutch kit came in last Friday. Tomorrow my father and I get to start splitting the tractor. I meant to get the loader removed this week to get a jump on things but ran out of time. The electric hoist in the garage should make that easy enough though then we'll put it on the trailer and wheel...

Regular Clorox and I believe hannaford brand are 7.25ish% a lot of others are less. Again working in water treatment give me a little bit of a leg up on knowing what is what. Our older systems used diluted bleach to oxidize sulfur and the reccomended ppm is 3-5 in 120 gallon contact tanks...

    Pulling logs

I keep it simple, I have a grab hook on my homemade 3ph trailer mover and a short 3/8 chain with a slip hook from H.F. that I choke the log with and then hook into the grab hook. It is only limited by the small lifting height on my b7100. Of course I'm only using it for firewood but it gets the...

Moved this contraption out our wooded section this afternoon ,and staged it near some other junk headed for the scrap yard in a few weeks. still didn't put the counterweight back on so I was 3 wheelin it the whole way back up the hill. That old trailer axle doesn't weigh much, but it was...
