When you backdag, you’ll scrape any paint right off. If you have to, try some POR15. I once painted the inside of a bucket with it in silver, and used the hell out of it and when I sold it, it looked like the day I painted it.

A good driveshaft repair shop can fix you right up. Try a local 4x4 shop. They are always dealing with custom driveshafts.
