How do you store your loader when off the tractor?

Mine goes in a corner of my shop building. I take it on/off frequently during the spring/summer/fall. The Kubota hardly moves all winter, so I just leave it on.

B2601 mower deck always failing down

So the height adjustment on these things is just a plastic cam. There‘s click stops on the adjustment shaft. Sounds like either or both of those is worn Letting the adjustment to slip down. It’s a hokie setup. I’m not a fan of suspended decks anyway. but i’d bet on yer plastic height adjustment...

    Quick Hydrolic fluid change question

That idea of putting the dipstick with the key is good. if I leave a sump dry overnight or a couple days, I always remove the key, or in the case of power equipment take off the spark plug wire to remind me. I drained a leaf blower motor once and didn’t have the right oil after. Couple days...

How long can I get parts for Kubota?

If you buy new, you wouldn’t have to worry so much about that. When after NOS parts dry up, there’s always salvage parts. Buy a case of filters and a drums of fluid and sleep at night :)I’d be more worried at how much longer could you buy reasonably priced fuel, or if you could get it at all at...

    bx25d vs b7500

Wheel/tire size. Larger tires on the 7500 will fall in the holes and ruts less. Plus its probably wider and more stable on hillsides. Ground Clarence is important if you get into brush stumps and bramble. Being heavier is an advantage while pulling stuff out of the ground. you also can’t ignore...

Snow clearing with front mount snowblower...rear box blade or rear angled blade?

When I lived in the north, I had a front mount blower on a B7500 and used it on gravel and traprock etc. . You’ll want to put some gauge wheels on on yer blower or it’ll get eaten up pretty quick. I learned that with a an old JD I had. I had them mounted behind the blower housing and it kept the...

Was it warm and then cold where you are Last week? Empty tanks invite condensation on the inside. Now you might have water in yer fuel.

    Tension pulley

A hundred years ago, when I was in a HVAC service truck, I went to a Browning power transmission products seminar, they told us never roll a belt over a sheave cuz it damages the cords and showed us examples and all that. So I never did after that even though I was tempted to. some things kinda...

    Three point hitch bushogs

I alway use a chain with an extra clevis part way up the chain and use it to tighten up the chain for transport. There are some situations where a solid link will bind up where I mow. Never thought about the mower catching and flipping the tractor and I doubt it could even happen.

    Forced to purchase counterweight (AU)

Well if you have a backhoe, you won’t need it unless when the hoe isn’t attached. Maybe you could sell it? Does it just mount on the 3pt hitch? the same dark forces that are ruining your country are at work here now.

    LA435 unavailable in Australia?

Trust me, yer better off with the 434. The quick attach stuff is troublesome. Self leveling is nice though.

    Gearbox on RCK60-24B

Just curious how you got ahold of a gearbox that turns reverse direction..... im not even sure gray market tractors even had mid PTOs. even if you found reverse blades, the deck wouldn’t discharge correctly among other problems.

    MMM usage

I mow about 5 acres a week with one, instead of a 0 turn due to some hilly and rough terrain areas. It works well but I’m not a big fan of suspended decks. On smooth ground, it’s as good as any mower though. I did have to reattach one of the front guide wheel mounts due to it broke off. kind of...

    Mower Decks

They aren’t supposed to, but in the real world, just try and keep them from running on the ground Unless your lawn is like a golf course. i don’t like it, and won’t go with another one like this.

    Kubota Super utd fluid alternative

If yer tractor I still under warranty, you might not want to go with non Kubota hyd. oil. a hundred bucks for 400 hrs. Is cheap compared to repairs on that thing.
