    Rear blade a-frame angle

To get the best overall performance, the A frame should be parallel with the ground. That way the curvature of the blade works as it should. you might want to try a 35 degree angle on the blade to start with. ;)

    Adjusting the Boxblade

The different pin locations allow the implement to be raised up different amounts. They change the arc and thus the implement gets raised differently in each of the pin locations. I typically use the top location on my tractors. As far as the box blade, shorter gets the front blade to dig in...

Basic / Generic Box Blade Advice Needed

If you need to work the box hard, as in ripping up ground and pulling material up hill. Then you will be better off with a 48" unit, if just light work, then a 54" would probably be fine. I would go with a 48" unit myself. ;)

Any one build a land plane?

Much nicer than having to make manual adjustments, that's for sure. ;)

Any one build a land plane?

Land plane grading scrapers (LPGS)are the way to go, that's for sure. Nothing and I do mean NOTHING works as well as a LPGS to maintain a dirt-gravel drive. Just keep in mind that you need about 150+ lbs per foot of width to work best. So if you build or buy, that would be the weight or...

    loader remote question

See if you can get a picture of the control switch that they offer. Between no forward hoses or fittings and if they only offer a zip tie control switch, it isn't ANY sort of a deal. Not that it is a bad price for what you get, but before you are done you will be right up there with all the rest...

    MX5100 Why No Rear Hydraulics??

I have custom ordered 6 different vehicles from the Ford Motor Company. With everyone of them I was given a production time and was advised when there were delays. (2 of the 6 different orders) I new of a guy who actually went and watched his car get built and driven off the assembly line. I...

    MX5100 Why No Rear Hydraulics??

Yes I am well aware that the M model Kubotas come with 1 std rear remote. I don't know about tractors, but when you special order a car or truck, they build that vehicle for the person that ordered it. I know this first hand. They do not just take a unit from the line and put XYZ on it.

    MX5100 Why No Rear Hydraulics??

So if you go down to your local new car dealer, you are going to see many cars without air conditioning? I doubt it. I think what you may actually mean is that you can order a car without air conditioning and it will be less $$$. I know with my Ford F350 I had to custom order it to get it with a...

    MX5100 Why No Rear Hydraulics??

So do you think that AC should be an option in every car & truck? I have no doubt that it could save $1000-$1500. Everyone doe not need it, but it is there anyway. Actually it is less money to put them on while the tractor is being built vs later on when things need to be disassembled to get...

    MX5100 Why No Rear Hydraulics??

Imagine your car without air conditioning. After all, you don't really need AC. Well the same goes for all these hydraulic features that one can have. You don't really need them, but they sure are nice to have besides that it is so easy to make adjustments that you do make those adjustments vs...

    MX5100 Why No Rear Hydraulics??

Do you use a box blade or a rear blade? Top & tilt is a wonderful thing to have when grading. Actually some people have needed 6 to be able to operate all of their different hydraulic actuated functions. ;)

    Need L4600 Buying Advice

On the Kubota website, they list them as telescopic lower links and stabilizers. And while you don't care about the extras, so as to help others, it doesn't seem like a good idea to say that the only difference is more horse power when that is not the only difference. With your statement it...

    Need L4600 Buying Advice

It's not just HP, I believe that the hitch is a deluxe hitch with extendable link ends and telescoping anti sway bars vs check chains. I am pretty sure that there is another deluxe option as well. It has been said that to put the options that come std on the MX5100 onto the MX4700...

Take a look at the spec sheets on Kubota's website. The MX4700 is quite a bit more tractor for only $200. ;)

    Need L4600 Buying Advice

The only thing that I can add is my opinion. And that is that I don't, like the dealer. For him to bad mouth the HST and he "just happens to have" a gear model, well it just smells wrong to me. Both types of tractors are good and some people prefer one type to the other, that's why they make...

    bx25...rear blade size

Typical rule of thumb for rear blades and landscape rakes is that you want it to be as wide as your tractor when the unit is angled over at 45 degrees. I believe that a 5 footer fills those needs for you. ;)

3rd function selector valve on LA364

It looks like you have a smaller than 2" dia cylinder? Doesn't take much fluid to get that thing moving quick. A flow restrictor will help out immensely with the speed problem. ;)

    2013 L3200 rear remote

Here ya go. Anytime aftermarket valves are considered, I always recommend that the person get a minimum of 2 and really 3 is better. It just is not that much more $$$ to get an additional valve when you are doing the purchase and installation anyway. Better to have it and not need it vs...
