Land Pride Price Checks - Mower, Landscape Rake & Post Hole Digger

Do you think that you need the PD25? Wouldn't the PD15 be fine with your tractor. It's rated up to 40hp. Should be a bit less money. Maybe purchase the hydraulic down pressure kit for it. Makes drilling in the hardest ground easy and fast.

New Member, and of course, a question!

Wire wheel the threads, should help some. You can grease, but then the grease attracts dirt and you don't really want that. Hydraulics are the way to go, but that ends up costing some $$$$.

    opinion on rear blade brands

All I can say is that when it comes to NEW implements, you usually get what you pay for. Good luck. ;)

    Land Pride Blades

Several things come into play. 1st, is-was it in stock at Land Pride? 2nd, free delivery to your dealer, or charged shipping costs? When I bought my LP RBT45108 it took 5-6 weeks. 1st it was not in stock and had to be built and 2nd, I was willing to wait for their free delivery to the dealer...

    L3200 or L3800?

Just so that we are clear, yes both tractors are about the same weight, with or without an equal amount of ballast. But if and when the tractor is ballasted, the L3800 handles the additional weight much better because of the extra HP. ;)

    Advice on Tractor Size

I would say if you can say a budget number, you will then get more realistic recommendations. ;)

    L3200 or L3800?

Had a customer that was new to tractors, bought the L3200. Was happy, but the tractor was a bit on the light side and he was always loosing traction. He filled his rear tires to get that added traction. He no longer looses traction, he now runs out of power. Now he wishes that he would have...

    bush hog 121-09 rear blade

Bulldog Re: bush hog 121-09 rear blade -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I agree 100% with this. I have done this with 2 of my tractors and it makes a day and night difference. :) As far as the 9' blade vs an 8', with the conditions that you...

    bush hog 121-09 rear blade

The weight is about right, but I seriously doubt that you will be able to make full use of that 9' blade. An 8' blade would be much better for your machine IMO. I believe that you have a situation of the tail waging the dog. Don't get me wrong, the blade will work, but your machine simply does...

    L3800 Rear Blade

It all depends on what you will be doing with the blade as to which unit will perform properly for what you are doing. Typically heavier will get you better performance. Not sure that I would go by what most dealers would recommend. :( Isn't that why we are on these forums? Anyway, get the...

    L3800 Rear Blade

If you care about covering your tracks when angled at 45*, then you will need an 84" blade. I personally would not purchase a new blade with the manual sliding offset blade. I have heard no good things about them. Very difficult to slide once the blade gets "used". I would be looking at...

    Land Pride Blades

What series blade are you looking at? There are several that are 60" wide. For your tractor I would be thinking about a 72" width. The heavier it is, the better it will work for you. ;)

    Kubota 3300 or Deere 3038e ?

I don't know what you are saying here? That you take your loader off 15-20 times a year. Great, and you have a tractor that you can do that with in a short amount of time. Great again. My statement was that the majority of compact tractor owners simply do not remove their loaders...

    Kubota 3300 or Deere 3038e ?

So do I and I take mine off when I do field work. My guess is that neither one of us would care to own a 3032e or 3038e. Just because the loader is not a quick removal loader. But not having a quick removable loader does not really concern a majority of people simply because they NEVER take the...

    Kubota 3300 or Deere 3038e ?

I agree with that statement, but in reality how many people really take there loaders off? I will say that a majority of people do not.

    Kubota 3300 or Deere 3038e ?

I have what may seem like a stupid question for some of you, but why would anyone have their tractor in mud like is in the picture? The tractor has a mower on the 3pt and it looks as if the mud was driven in many times (just to drive in it?) You can accomplish nothing that I can think of, but...

    Kubota 3300 or Deere 3038e ?

To start with, shouldn't you be comparing the L3301 to a JD 3032e  That or an L3901 to the JD 3038e. Pretty comparable tractors IMO. Best to at least sit on each one and see if one is more comfortable than the other. How close are they in price? Do you prefer green, or orange...
