    Something just crossed my mind

Granted I only have about 80 hours on mine, but I've never used the diff lock. I'm not even sure in what situation I would want to use it. But I guess I have some good info now on HOW to do it!

Tractor wouldn't start on 2 occasions now, starts after messing with things

We seem to have had very similar issues several times here since I signed up (to ask about the exact same problem...)

    It should not have run

I could see maybe a minute or so from the fuel in the system already (don't know how much there is), but definitely not 5 hours. A mystery for sure.

How many are still using satellite or cable for TV?

I'm pretty amazed at just how much retro TV there is out there. And even the big broadcast channels seem to be doing a lot of "retro" - remaking old series (SWAT, MacGyver, etc).

    Road erosion problem

Far as I can see, there is one pipe, maybe about 18" (maybe 24? I haven't measured, probably should). It appears to be clear of sediment for the most part at least, I'll check more on the inlet side. It looks to me like the inlet side has two openings because something is blocking it partly...

No release yet, but I just got a check, apparently for overpayment of the payoff...

    Smokers! (Of the cooking variety)

I don't know much of anything about electric smokers. I suppose if you don't want to monitor it, or if you're doing something requiring perfect consistency (like a restaurant or food truck) they're good. I just use a plain old offset barrel smoker - here's mine...

    Road erosion problem

So I'm trying to figure out the approach to fixing a problem with my road eroding. I live about a mile off the pavement, with a dirt/gravel road that I maintain as the only access to my property. Last year, I had drainage put it that has helped prevent the big problems it used to have, with...

    Operator presence issues?

Happy to help! In my case, the sensor (or whatever) in the switch was stuck and I didn't know about this trick - it cost me a rather expensive trip to the dealer to learn the trick.

Dashboard Reads = PTO Off - But it's running - Used Tractor inspection

On the L3301, the PTO switch engages the PTO and there is one switch. I assume you've turned PTO on & off and compared the shaft rotation with the light status? On this model, is it an active "Off" indicator, or just that the light is on/off depending on PTO status - the latter would seem to be...

    Operator presence issues?

On my 3301 there are 3 switches that all work together. PTO, seat (operator presence) and HST. I recently had problems getting it to start. I messed with the PTO and seat switches with no luck, until I learned (from here) about the HST. I tried jiggling the foot pedal while cranking, and it...

Just paid mine off, nothing but insurance offers so far, too. Guess I just have to wait? At least the account is correctly updated.

How many are still using satellite or cable for TV?

We have Dish, but basically the same. Don't know when we last watched any regular show live, but we often have live tv on kinda as background noise. Usually DIY or Science channel. How It's Made is a good background sound track :)

    Whats this white stuff?

Farmers Almanac is predicting a "mild" winter here in NC. Based on the temps lately, I think they missed it. Wouldn't be surprised to see some of that head our way before long.

Engine warning light on low hour tractor?

That they reached that conclusion simply from a phone call is BS, IMO. After buying my 3301, I got a couple surveys from Kubota asking about the dealer (like a year later and another a couple years later). Hopefully you'll get the same

    What's cookin' boys?

Ok, you you go then. Here was the finished product: Ok, let's see what I can do. I don't have an actual recipe, because I made it up as I went along, but I remember it pretty well. Measurements of stuff not in clear units (1 can, 1/2 onion) are all "-ish" Chile Verde: 1 pound of meat (I...

How many are still using satellite or cable for TV?

When I switched from Verizon (lousy) DSL (avg. 100k speeds) to Hughes, the plan was a "soft" cap at 50GB. What that means is that my first 50GB is full bandwidth, seems to run 20-30mbps, then once I hit that mark, the rest is throttled. Exactly what that means depends on overall traffic, as I...

    What's cookin' boys?

Got a little creative this weekend. Started off with simple Chile Verde (pork) and decided I wanted to do a little different than the normal Mexican, so I did a Mexican fried rice (not quite the Cuban Arroz Frito) and green chile egg rolls with a habanero sweet & sour dip. Got asked to make...

How many are still using satellite or cable for TV?

Interesting. Have you looked into satellite at all? It has its problems (latency, mainly) but we do fine with HughesNet - streaming, I WFH as a programmer so I'm connected to several company internal devices constantly, plus various meetings. My wife has appointments via webex or zoom pretty...

BX23S, B2601, LX2610 - Just bought 8 wooded acres (but also have access to larger tractor of grandpas)

One piece of advice I got when shopping was "shop the dealer, not the brand". I knew nothing about tractors, so I had a lot of questions. I had two dealers who treated my like an annoyance, but the Kubota dealer took the time to educate me so that I could make an informed decision. That's what...
