    l2350

The bleeding process is all 'Gravity feed'.....so pretty simple on the L2350. Replace fuel filter. Loosen the 'bleeder' at the fuel filter housing and let fuel flow until no bubbles/air is present....tighten. Follow the fuel line to the Pump and do the same thing there (loosen bleeder and...

    l2350

Sounds suspiciously like contaminated fuel. I'd drain the tank of remaining fuel, discard. Inspect tank for any water residue or algae. If good, replace fuel filter. Add new diesel, bleed the system at the two factory points (per manual). Try to start (with fully charged battery). Bet it...

Brand new implement rust and bent

Ask dealer for partial refund. Straighten it yourself. Remove rust, paint with black 'Appliance Epoxy' (which frankly will last longer than powder coat). Call it good.

    What Attachment?

Valid point IF the dozer operator doesn't understand the objective (to level the field, not strip it). Very little 'pushing' of soil should be required. Operator (if competent) will know to 'back drag' the field, leveling it and breaking up any clods at the same time. Disc can be run over it...

    What Attachment?

A 5 shank box blade would probably suffice to 'rip' what you need to do. It wouldn't be as forgiving as a Fred Cain cultivator if you hit something hard, but a hay field should be devoid of anything too troublesome. Then follow up with a disc (two directions). Box blade can be used to fill any...

    Block Heater L2350 question

Good enough, then I'll do it. (y) If true....then that would make more sense to me. A freeze plug would seem more malleable than this bushing looks. Just something about forcing a tapered plug into a non tapered hole (made of cast iron) that spooks me a bit. A cracked block at a core plug...

    Block Heater L2350 question

Question: Does 20 thousandths of 'Taper' sound like a lot for something that is going to be an interference fit? I was going to install the Block Heater today but thought I'd better check the diameter of it to be sure it was correct. I discovered that over the length of the 'step'....it is...

    Block Heater L2350 question

So.....the block heater finally arrived. The Depth of the stepped portion is only 5/8", so hopefully there will be no issues with hitting a cylinder wall before fully seating. I will measure first. Some sealant for the new adaptor bushing.

    R.I.P The beloved Garden Tractor

I had a 318 for many years. It broke a rod and I elected not to rebuild the Onan Engine. Instead 'parted' it out. Seems there is a very dedicated following of collectors/uses for older JD lawn tractors. I still have parts in my shop but sold nearly $3000.00 worth off that tractor (not kidding).

    Metabo HPT Battery tool reviews

I have a lot of Hitachi/Metabo tools (Electric, Air, Battery) and all of them are excellent quality. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

    The New Improved Jail

First offense.....probably not. Pretty sure no one would want to go back a second time though. So.....maybe have some 'deterrent' effect. That or cause criminals to just try harder to not be arrested (flee or fight).

Has Amazon ever sent you something you didn't order?

Haven't had that happen but have had Amazon send me items that clearly have been used and returned.

My Dentist of 30 years sent me a letter.........

That should do it. Or tell them that Grizzlies LOVE Pop-Tarts especially their 'Cubs', so keep some handy to feed them.

We have plenty of pretty sunsets and views. I wouldn't leave Texas on that account. Just a few from my front porch.

    Finish Mower Help

^^^^^ Agreed. And in this case 'heavy' too (upwards of 700 lbs.) The OP might notice a little 'strain' IF mowing up any significant inclines (if he has any). Otherwise should be fine.

    Finish Mower Help

You have roughly 21 PTO hp....so I would expect it would do just fine in the conditions you describe. Rear Discharge mower helps also. Keep the blades sharp and don't let the grass get too high. IF you experience any trouble (grass a little too high or a bit wet) you can take a smaller...

My Dentist of 30 years sent me a letter.........

Pretty much out the Blue. Said he was closing his practice here (Deep East Texas) and moving himself and wife to Montana. I have to wonder if that was a well thought out decision? Pretty sure once he experiences a Montana 'Winter' he might have second thoughts. In recent years a number of...
