    Informal Skeet Shoot.

Couple of old High School buddies this time. Not too many of us left....actually. Usually....just set things up for family members (Older Brother, Nephews, Nieces). Sometimes a few folks from church. Much more fun NOW (while the weather is nice) than later in the year. Summertime in Deep East...

    Informal Skeet Shoot.

I'll pick up a couple of boxes of 'Midi' and 'Mini' birds as well. Those really haul A$$ and you have to be quick to hit those before they get out of range. And of course there might be 'refreshments' for AFTER the shooting.

    Informal Skeet Shoot.

Yeah, I reload for everything except my shotguns (and rimfire ammo obviously). Just easier for me to buy shotshells than to find the time (and components) to reload for them.

    Informal Skeet Shoot.

Mine will be lead. Others are free to bring what they wish. But any that I shoot (or provide to others will be lead). Thankfully (in my State) we still get to choose (on privately owned property or not hunting waterfowl, etc). Clay Birds are biodegradable as well.

    Informal Skeet Shoot.

Going to have a couple of Old Friends over this weekend to visit and shoot a little informal skeet (as out in the pasture...with a thrower). Should be fun. Weather is nice (here) this time of year. Pretty sure I've got enough Clay Birds. ;) But I checked my ammo lockers....and found them a...

    A winch on my 2502

^^^^^ Agreed, it really can not be overstated how important it is to either lift the front of the log or use some type of a skidding device.

Hazard lights not working on L3710?

https://www.colemanequip.com/parts/details/KubotaParts/Kubota-Hazard-Light-Assembly/TC222-33610/ Or something similar should work for you.

Hazard lights not working on L3710?

YES! IF you have an Open Station version (no cab) then it should have fender mounted hazard lights. They will be big, yellow, round lights. IF you don't have those mounted on each fender then look on the fender for indications of where they should have been (holes for mounting, wiring under...

    flushing fuel tank on l2350

Removing the tank on a L2350 wouldn't be any picnic.....but would be the best way to clean it as @ North Idaho Wolfman suggests. That way you can turn it all angles. Use abrasives and solvents if necessary and be able to dump all of that out of the filler neck. IF you only had bad fuel to...

Folding rotary cutters, flex wings and bat wings.

I've been using this BushHog 15' Batwing for almost 20 yrs. now. It has held up well. Mostly open pasture and the native grasses/weeds but I've cut stands of Giant Ragweed that were 12' feet high.

Tool Tray on ROPS - Any Reasons to NOT Put it Here?

Yes, storage or some type of 'carry-all' box/basket are especially useful on a tractor. ROPS mounted items can be the solution for some. Other than a slight loss of direct sight to implements.....mine has proved a very handy addition.

Implements that pull on the drawbar and the world of good enough.

Pintle for sure....for strength and articulation. I run one on my Land Cruiser and use an off-road trailer when conditions are rough and demanding.

    L2250 low oil pressure

^^^^ When I added a digital oil pressure gauge to my Land Cruiser, I ran into that problem. Block was BSPT and sensor was 1/8" NPT. Could have used an adapter but it would have ended up sticking out too far from the block. So I just re-tapped the block 1/8' NPT. Easy to do.

    L2250 low oil pressure

I'd go straight to the mechanical gauge. Best to KNOW right now if there is an issue (actual low pressure) or not. IF you have good pressure...then yes, replace sending unit and go from there. As @85Hokie already stated.....oil pressure should be highest (at idle speed) when the engine is...

    A really bad day

Same thing can happen if you back into something (hit tree with implement). My Brother in Law did something similar with his father's tractor one time.

    Engine Rebuild gone wrong?

IF replacing the block.....I'd actually prefer a used (seasoned) block to a new one. Just have it magnafluxed and carefully inspected.

    Engine Rebuild gone wrong?

Agreed. I've successfully welded non-critical cast components with 7018 rods (low hydrogen) and rods with 55% nickel. Both work well. Preheating is imperative to prevent cracking from too much heat (too quickly) but also to prevent rapid 'cooling' which is the nemesis of cast iron welds.

    Engine Rebuild gone wrong?

^^^^^^ This. The only secure repair would be to braze or weld the void. The intent being to prevent a 'crack' from developing later. It isn't a matter of strength (the cylinder bore is sleeved). But if a crack were to start, no telling what might become of it. Trying to fill a tapered...

^^^^^ THIS.....and it is so damn annoying.
