Adding spacer to front wheels -L3200DT

I second what Bulldog has said. Widening the front track will greatly magnify the leverage imposed. If you feel you have to do it, I'd run it widened with the loader off, but put it back to stock width when the loader is on.

    Photo's of Specialty Repairs

I think that you are being smart- it is a pretty big jump from a small, one or two (trusted) man operation with a good niche to a larger shop with multiple employees. You lose an edge- control, creative freedom, and dependability.

    new wheel weight option?

Rebar? Rebar is to unitize and strengthen a concrete section- I don't see where you would need rebar in the tires. I agree with Eric- why not just fill the tires with liquid? Concrete is heavy- I mix 5 gallons buckets of it all the time, and I'd say they weigh 80 pounds or so. But, once the...

    Can a B3030 fix this?

If it is a real hard-packed driveway, then probably none of them will do- you need something like a grader, with down pressure. As far as smoothing gravel, filling in ruts, etc., any that you listed with a box blade or grader blade will do the work. Very few tractors are going to do the work of...

new to me b1750HST w/tranny noise

Someone could have dropped the tractor onto a hard object on the underside of the frame, like a rock or log, and broke it. Or, they could have overloaded the loader, or a mixture of both. Either way, I'd suspect that the tractor was abused- loose bolts wouldn't necessarily cause broken flanges...

Pay close attention to the video at 7 seconds- when the loader tops out, you can see the tractor move in the middle. Watch the hood stand in front of his knees. You can definitely say that it had the current conditions when they owned it... It also shows movement when he lifts the front of the...

    Oil weight Question

Your owners manual should have a chart, with temperature ranges and what applicable weight oil to use in those ranges. Just asess what your conditions are, and use the chart to decide which oil to use. Both are good, if they are used in their engineered conditions. On the chart, they probably...

    B7100HST Kubota

Mine does this a little- it typically wants to creep a little in reverse. I have had other hydros before, and they tended to creep a little- I have just accepted it as a fact of life. Maybe I shouldn't, but to compensate, I just kick the high/low lever into neutral when I want to get off, and...

    home made tire studs

No, that is a good idea. Tire chains don't work too well on ag tires, because of the fact that the chains ride in the valleys. Linking the cross chains would help.

Don't take me wrong- I certainly hope that it can be repaired (and hold up), and I know that you can't see everything. I was just asking what the circumstances of purchase were. I go by the same name on other forums- mytractorforum, DTR, TDIclub, Weldtalk.

How did you purchase this tractor? Did you not go over it before buying? I suspect that a metal fab shop won't be able to help you. You are probably going to be searching for a donor tractor. By the looks of things, someone must have dropped the tractor hard on the belly, or something like that...

    Husky or Stihl

I run a 20" on my 390, and a 25" on my 660. We cut bit stuff, so the 20" is a minimum. I could use a smaller saw/bar for limbing and light stuff, but I don't want a third saw- the 390 is small enough to use for lighter duty. You should really research your saw- if you are comfortable with an 18"...

    recommend log splitter?

The Unicorn- I've used one before- I wouldn't be surprised if OSHA or some other agency doesn't outlaw them. They work great, unless it gets hung up. But, if the wood slips off of the arm, somebody will get hurt- that is one dangerous piece of equipment. Enjoy it, but please be careful!

That I will. :) Mobil 1's site says that their Mobil 1 10W-30 is for gasoline engines.

What brand Rotella for L3400 HST

I'm no oil expert, but I disagree enough to say that I would get that oil out of there, fast. Gasoline engine oils may hold up, but their chemical characteristics will harm certain parts unique to a diesel engine. If it were mine, I wouldn't risk my engine for the cost of an oil change. I'd...

    Rear blade

Please don't get offended at this, but I think that you are over analyzing this. Wait until it snows, and then try it out. If you get tons of snow, it may not work at all. If you don't get a lot, then it may be the ticket. You won't really know until it snows... But, if nothing else, the blade...

Which size grader blade for B8200?

The blades can be raised so that they don't dig in- so that you can just level, not break new ground- or you can lower and use them.
