My tractor came with Super UDT from the factory (2004). My 5 gallon bucket is getting low, and now I see that they are selling Super UDT2.. What is the difference? thanks

    Loader Pins

I used to use PB Blaster as my penetrating oil of choice, until I tried a can of Deep Creep by Seafoam. It is more expensive than PB Blaster, but it works much better. Give it a try, and you will never use anything else in the future.

What would you buy for this lawn/property?

I agree with what others have said, but with one exception. I would buy a BX Tractor/Loader/Back Hoe machine. I have a BX22 since 2004, and it is not that I use the back hoe that often, but when I need it to dig, I have it available to me, rather than having someone else getting paid to do...

    Wanted: BX2750 Parts

I am looking for the female half of the driveline that mounts on the snow blower, and connects to the rectangular shaft that is on the tractor quick hitch. Also the female side of the quick hitch that is mounted on the rear of the snow blower.

BX Filter Changes + 'Warning' and tips for New Owners

I'm coming to this party quite late, however, I just wanted to give my experience. My BX22 is approaching 700 hours, and I have replaced neither of my fuel filters. I use Power Service in my fuel, and I never empty the container to the bottom. Most times, water and other debris will remain on...

BX2750D Snow Blower for sale for parts

I am the lucky person that is getting this gem from Gary. I need a bunch of parts and pieces to repair my blower. I came in from pushing snow this afternoon, and decided to check Craigslist, and it is exactly what I need to fix mine.

    BX2750 Snowblower Shoes

Which direction do the shoes get mounted? I have seen pictures of them pointing toward the rear of the tractor, and others, where the shoes are pointed forward, and are under the snowblower. What is the correct orientation? thanks

    Really slick cab heater, Jeggs

Depends on the way that the heater is set up by the manufacturer. Some manufacturers, it is all recirculate, or all fresh air. Others allow for the door to blend some outside air with inside air.

Michelin surprising remarks on tire ballast,

What is the opinion of the group about running filled tires, and iron weights on a BX tractor.. ?

    trailer tires

When I was looking for trailer tires, the dealer suggested that with the very limited use that have for a trailer, that bias ply tires would serve my needs best. Also said that if I were using the trailer over the road a lot, that the radial tire would be best. I put on 2 bias ply tires, and...

    Filled Tires

They will rust, if you don't use something that has a rust inhibitor in it. Place a piece of steel into a pan of water, and make sure that it is totally submerged. Check on it in a week, and you will see that it has rusted. I know that some people use windshield washer fluid, and I am not...

    BX2380 ballast box

I know that I mentioned the grease to act as a release agent, however, the safer method is the black plastic can liner. In fact, if I were to do it, I would be inclined to double bag it. No need to worry about the creases, because the weight of the cement will flatten them out. I would hate...

    thoughts on ether?

The best block heater, is the type that go directly into the block. You will need a very large socket to install it, if it is like my BX22. For that reason, I had the dealer install it before it was delivered.

BX25D, with Curtis cab, door installation

Just came across this thread, and when I the tractor cab roof lift up, I immediately knew where they got that idea from. When I was discussing a cab for my BX22 with them, I sent them a picture of how someone on TBN had modified the cab for a BX2200 to fit onto a BX22, by raising the roof in...

Cab or No Cab... That is the Question

Just wondering how many people have a cab on their tractor. I went without one for about 3 years, and finally decided that winter is too cold on my old bones not to have a cab. I bought a soft sided Curtis Cab that fits a BX2200, and mounted it on my BX22. Also bought the cab heater at the...

Digging out from the big storm.

We got about 10" of snow in Northeastern CT, but then the rain started, and that produced about an inch of hard ice on top of the snow. My Kubota snow blower had a hard time of it trying to open up the driveway. Once I had one path down the middle, then took half bites on both sides, until it...

    BX2380 ballast box

That appears to be the same box that I purchased from my Kubota dealer. The reason that I say that, is because of the sticker that shows how much weight that you should add to the box for a BX.

    BX2380 ballast box

If you had posted your idea of filling the box with cement before you had done it, I would have suggested to you to use a 55 gallon 6 mil black plastic trash bag, and place it into the weight box prior to pouring the cement into the box. The other thing that can be done prior to pouring...

Cold morning diesel gelling up I guess...

Woodcarver... By any chance, do you or one of your close neighbors have a wood stove. If so, see if you can get a shovel full of hot ashes from the wood stove, and place the shovel with the hot ashes on the ground under the tractor. The heat from the hot ashes on the shovel will warm the...
