    TTWT, EPA, and Tractor Purchase

The GM vehicles I work on (ambulances and fire (supervisor or brush trucks) have all the emissions intact. What is different is the ECM's programming, which still have the DEF warning's but, will not reduce power/speed in case of failure. And no you can not just reprogram the average GM truck...

    DEF Fluid in Hydraulic fluid

In my experience the diesel fluid destroyes the DEF heater ribbons(tank heater) and also had to replace the DEF lines(these lines are also heated). This applies to GM cars and trucks, but, can't see tractors having that much different components.

    DEF Fluid in Hydraulic fluid

You could drain a small amount of the hydraulic fluid and send it into blackstone. Describe what happened and have them do a fluid analysis. https://www.blackstone-labs.com

Kubota L4701? JD 5055E? or Farmall 55A? Which would you choose and why?

Where in Wisconsin is important too. I have a LX2610 with backhoe and the cab, it mostly lives in the La Crosse area(think dirt and hills) but did help my buddy dig a basement addition using the same tractor in the Plover(think flat and sandy soil) and the tractor worked fine for this. I...

In frame honing of good bores.

I have cut open quite a few oil filters just out of curiosity of engine condition(used car lots usually will let you take the filter if you spin a new one on and refill the engine),

LX3310 Snowblower Chute Deflection Cylinder Size

Is it possible to get more pictures of the snow blower setup(mostly chute deflector and cylinders)? We use the same kit for the chute deflector and I am trying to find an aftermarket cylinder as like you what to use to third function, not the BS electric diverter. Looking for bore of the...

    Mid-mount Mower pin up LX2610

On my LX2610 they did not line up as delivered. Resetup the mower deck and adjusted as needed(way off). Also drilled out the brackets and mower mounts about 1/32 of an inch, and went with a slightly smaller clevis pin for easy installation/removal. HTH's

Help...What is the overall height of the LX2610 Cab model with R14T Tires?

I have that exaact tractor with the R14T tires. The size of the tires are 14-17.5 inches rear and 23-8.5 inches front(due to having a mid-mower deck). I just measured it and to the roof is 84 inches and to the top of antenna(flexible) is 90 inches. Also the radio is extra, but, wiring and...

    LX2980 snow blower installation questions

I installed the subframe bracket and the snowblower myself on my LX2610. Not too bad a job, can't remember how long it took, but was done in a weekend(including pallet break down and OCD for lock-tite on bolts/nuts). If you want I can try to get pictures tomorrow of subframe, blower, and mid...

Found some weird stripped bolts sitting on my new LX-2610

I would remove both bolts and inspect the bolt holes. Then depending on what I found a call to the service manager/owner would be in order.

    Ordering a LX2610SU

Being 60 years old, I am surprised you did not get the cab version, at my 46 years old I really like the A/C while mowing and it is so nice snow blowing in my pj's when it is 5 degrees out. I never priced the LX2610SU as I needed the mid-pto. Second on the attachments. Curious what you are...

    Minneapolis Moline Knoedler Seat Frame

I kinda like the blue spring color. That spring might even be powdered coat for liability proposes. If I remember right 1st generation Ford Taurus had issues with the rear springs just being painted, and the paint would flake off during compress/rebound allowing rust to start. I have only...
