Kubota tractor overheating when fan replaced to electric. (Kubota G1900S (D722))

If I remember right the mid 80's Audi 5000 had 2 engines both 5 cylinders(2.2 liters) with a radiator at a 30 degree angle behind the drivers head light. The NA and the turbo used the same radiator, but the turbocharged engine also had a additional radiator(no fan behind it) plumbed into the...

    Third function valve wires

No, war as in difference of opinions. If I do a terminal I use the proper grade of dielectric grease within it. Worked at an auto/tractor repair shop that also did cattle trailer repairs for the Amish around here. So, think of trailers getting dragged thru snow(Amish don't plow snow), rough...

    Third function valve wires

Well, okay I will start a war. Even seasoned mechanics become agitated when working on your car’s electrical system. Intermittent difficulties, complex dashboard harnesses, and years of “fix it and forget it” remedies only worsen things. Most electrical problems are caused by a faulty...

    Third function valve wires

As a backup terminal release tool safety pins work great. Without a better picture I can not tell, but remember the terminal can go either in the front or the back of the connector plastic. Also you may need a new connector, if so try this site. https://connectorexperts.com/

Methonol and water vs rim guard

I'm saying its is worth it as 1. The nitrogen is dry, therefore no corrosion to start within the rim(at the seal) THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME AS I HAVE WORKED ON A PASQUALI TRACTOR THAT NEEDED ALL 4 RIMS DUE TO CORROSION THAT HAD TO CUSTOM MADE. Also have refused to install tires on rims as the...

    Kubota MX5100 Nightmare!

I remember having a customer with a Ford F-150(5.4 with 47K on it) that the customer and his neighbor checked out and decided it needed a transmission(customer supplied used transmission in the bed of the truck). I pulled the truck into the shop with a HELL of a misfire, I then called the...

Methonol and water vs rim guard

As a tech I have seen nitro-filled(from new) have less corrosion on the rims that should be cleaned off when changing tires. Also had a very sllllooooowwww leak on the lawn mower. Used to fill it every 2 weeks, filled with nitrogen and now its every 2 months(fill 3 times and then done mowing...

    KX91-2 hydraulic oil change

Also have all cylinders retracted(if safe to do so) as this will put more fluid in the tank. And have the fluid warm by running it before draining as this will get the contaminates suspended in the fluid. If possible let drain overnight.

    PTO Soft Start

Its like when I pulled a 1 ton dually with my VW jetta. Letting the clutch out at idle would just kill the engine, but revving to 2K and slowly letting the clutch out I could pull it(Yes there was a clutch smell, but VW was buying it back). That small diesel could do it but it was not quick(or...

    PTO Soft Start

OR I did find this TORQUE CONVERTER ELIMINATES DAMAGING SHOCK FROM PTO ENGAGEMENT JUNE 24, 2014 by Paul Torque Converter Problem: On a day-to-day basis, it is becoming more and more difficult to find drivers that are able to operate standard transmissions versus automatic transmissions. In...

    PTO Soft Start

OK, instead of feathering the PTO engagement, how about a slow assist to the PTO shaft? Thinking a one-way pulley welded to the shaft with a belt to a 12 starter motor. Or maybe a hydraulic motor off of the rear hydraulics. Maybe a 12 volt motor with a rubber tire on it that only touches when...

    Front snow blower

I have the same setup and find it works better in low range at partial pedal(3 MPH). Also in wet heavy snow I spray it down with oil(WD-40, Kroil, or what ever else is on the workbench).
