What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Cleaned up a fallen dead/rotten pine with the grapple, chipped a pile of brush that’s been accumulating for a few months, and then burned a buncha crap I didn’t want to put i n the chipper. Still have a recently dead pine behind my shop that needs to come down before it starts dropping stuff on...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Did you use an OE (Kubota) kit or 3rd party (Summit, etc)? I used the Summit kit for the 3FV, and other than the valve not being a Power Beyond type valve and I have few complaints. It was super easy to install, especially with the boom off the tractor and the seat mounting bracket removed. I...

Wow. That seems odd that the deflector won't turn down any farther. Not saying it's better, but my Woodland Mills WC-68 will point down enough to nearly bury itself in chips. Not a good way to run it because it tends to clog the chute more often depending on wood species, but I can pretty...

Pretty much goes for ANY state south of Kentucky, and even KY in July. Remote starting on a vehicle is a luxury to some, a necessity to others.

I didn't say the rules were intelligent, and the TSA doesn't make them. It's just that some are more diligent in enforcing them. :ROFLMAO:

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

You do you. I did it to keep me from connecting the hoses on my grapple backward and making sure that everything always operated the same way without having to think about it. I simply cannot hook it up backward now. Female on the pump side, male on the pump side, I'm not sure there's really...

I just keep the dust caps on the fittings. They do a pretty good job of keeping the females clean because they lock in place where the ones on the male fittings tend to expand and fall off when they’re soaked in hydraulic fluid. As you say, though, easy to wipe with a rag. Worst case I shoot a...

Anyone going to Australia who wants a decent Ranch dressing. Actually, if it isn’t opened, it’s perfectly acceptable to pack nearly any processed and sealed product in checked bags. There are some exceptions, obviously. You can even transport ammunition and firearms if they’re in separate bags...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I got the Summit kit and had to assemble every single piece of it. So I just put all the disconnects on the way it made sense and guaranteed I couldn’t screw it up. I still don’t like what it did to the FEL circuits but I like the functionality more than the one problem it has. The boom and curl...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

My FEL is marked with different color dust caps, but Kubota mounted all the female connectors on the bracket on the FEL subframe, and all the males on the FEL boom. I may‘fix’ that one day with some better markers and swapping one connector on each circuit to eliminate the possibility of senior...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I did exactly the same on my 3FV connectors. I sorta point the fittings in the same direction that the oil flows to extend the cylinder on any attachments with the male connector pointing that out. I’m old, so neither my muscles nor my memory are very strong these days. 😳

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I see you put one male and one female on the boom, and the same on whatever attachment you're using. Sure makes it easy to NEVER hook up something backward, doesn't it?

Mine came with no chains, so if I lose the hairpin, it’s just a matter of time before I lose the stabilizer pin too. Eventually when I quit being a tightwad, I’ll get some of the thumb latch push pins and dangle them with some 3/16 aircraft cable. In 3 years I’ve lost one hair pin, though...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

If you were holding the end that was in the stabilizer, yup, they're upside down. The hair pins should secure them in the stabilizers from underneath. But as most pointed out, it's a good way to lose the hair pins if you're working in brush a lot. I've only lost one, but it can happen. My...

Let's just say I'm a bit less politically correct than some and could likely get myself censored or even kicked from a site that I pay to be on if I climbed up on that soap box. My wife reminds me constantly, "Filter, dear, FILTER." The current state of society is that it's OK to think...

I feel your pain, or felt it would be more accurate. If the tower PLUS the mast and radials is under 60 feet, no worries. I had a neighbor with a cheap TV call the FCC (and file a complaint with the local PD) on me about interference and my only infraction was that my total height was 72 feet...
