B2601/LA435 manifold conversion to individual flat face

I think you'll be alright. I think I was getting my 3/8 and 1/4 and JIC and SAE all discombobulated.

    PTO Speed & Overheating. L2500

540 PTO speed is 2500 on the tach. Roadworthy gave you good advice on the radiator.

    BX Inner Air Filter

I just started this spring using an inner filter. It gets hot, dry, and dusty here. I never get through one mowing session without having to stop and clean the radiator, screens, and air filter. First mow of the season here I had to stop 4 times! Bought my filters on ebay...

I think you're ordering the wrong parts, but let us know how it works out.

B2601/LA435 manifold conversion to individual flat face

I did it on my BX2380. I used 4, 1/4 NPT female couplers from Summit and 4, 3/8 JIC to 1/4 NPT adapters. Didn't have to change anything on the lower male couplers.

What would you buy for this lawn/property?

I think a BX with FEL and MMM would work nicely in your situation. A BH would certainly be nice, but I couldn't justify it for my few acres. I love a RFM for wide open spaces, but you will not want a RFM on that property. Far too many trees/obstacles to mow around.

Horse stall mats would work quite well.

    BX2380 Grill Guards

I don't have one of those grill guards, but if I needed a new one, I'd take that one any day over the OEM one.

    Leaky hydraulic block

Had my 2380 "repaired" once by the dealer under warranty. Began leaking again shortly there after. The quick coupler design sucks because the single attachment point in the middle of the coupler allows it to rock. Replaced the upper coupler with 4 Summit hydraulics 1/4 NPT flat face female...

    Cutting height control dial

As noted previously, raise the 3 pt all the way to the top, then turn the dial/knob. It only turns one way----numbers increasing. That is, if it's set at 3, you can't turn it back to 2. You have to go past 4, Top, 1, 2. You may also have to adjust the nut located above your left rear wheel...

    Using hand-accelerator-lever

Pull the screen under your dash. You know, the one by your knees. Follow the throttle lever down through the dash and look underneath. The bottom of the throttle lever should have two nuts. Set the top nut to your desired stiffness on the throttle and then use the bottom nut as the a jam nut...

I guess spring is here at last

The bluebirds and the Carolina wrens have already raised a brood and are starting on their second. Assuming all goes well, this will be on the first homegrown 'mater sammich of the year.

New BX2380 - Do I have a hydraulic fluid leak?

Yes, you have a hydraulic fluid leak. It's probably the POS quick coupler. Lots of posts on here (and elsewhere) about them. Have the dealer fix it.

RTV: 4 wheel drive L, M or H? Diff Lock.

Just in case you don't have the operator's manual for your RTV, you can read it/download it here: https://www.gartontractor.com/post/2017/05/19/kubota-rtv900-operators-manual It has a section on how/when to use the diff lock. Doesn't answer all your questions, but is good info. 85Hokie gave...

source for hydraulic tube color tape?

I used different colored electrical tape when I replaced the crappy upper quick gang coupler with individual couplers on my 2380 about a year ago. Works fine for me.

    Do I need this

No reason/need to remove them as the remedy has already been stated. And, it's in the owner's manual, too.
