    Kubota F-3060 won't start

There are things that can cause it to stop running even with fuel flow. Weird that it ran, then stopped when return hoses were repaired. But that could be coincidence, or could be related. A bit more information about exactly what it does when it doesn't start could help. So: 1. It was...

New Tractor Advice for a newbie please

The OP isn't comparing backhoe to no backhoe. The suggestion is that he comparing a BX23S with backhoe to an L2502 without a backhoe. None of his listed tasks require a backhoe, a number of them would greatly benefit from an L sized machine. He says he already outsources serious excavator...

    Changing Super UDT2

I think the key is that your tractor hydraulic system connects to all your implements. Those implements may have all sorts of trash in their oil, or all sorts of different wear. Kubota will be the ones blamed if something goes wrong, not the implement. A zero turn has wear that is internal to...

    Extreme Newbie w 5 Acres

I've cleared a lot of blackberry and light brush just using the MMM on my B2601. It's a bit hard on it, but I'll never wear it out with my use. Once they're cleared they're pretty easy to maintain. 5 acres is a lot to mow with a B2601, but not impossible.

    2003 Kubota BX1500 + snowblower + 54" mower deck

The attachment to open to see details may mean people aren't looking and answering. BX1500, 2003. That's an older tractor, and relatively low HP. A bit over 1,000 hours isn't high, but isn't low either. The photos show it to be in good condition. The bare machine plus mower I'd guess around...

New Tractor Advice for a newbie please

I'd agree that the backhoe is what's really pushing up your cost. If you're trying to fit a budget, you get a lot more tractor for your money without a backhoe. You can add a backhoe later if you need one, but nothing in your list of jobs requires a backhoe. I'd look bigger than a BX for what...

Need help with RCK60B-22BX MMM repair

I think the bearing trick is that there's one above the deck and one below it. There are separate sections of the diagram for the portion above the deck and the portion below the deck. Likely only one part of your spindle came apart, but perhaps the other bearing is also there?

HP required for offset flail mower, and radio install?

Don't think of it as spending. It's a loan to yourself. The tractor is worth $75K. When you're done with it, you can sell it for $75K. Tractors don't lose a lot of value, new tractors just get more expensive, the one you own tends to be worth most of what you paid for it. So the real question...

HP required for offset flail mower, and radio install?

With an offset flail, I would have thought your limitation is weight of the tractor. You can only run so big a flail out the side before your machine just tips over. I'd say you'll run out of weight before you run out of HP. I'd also suggest that the things you run an offset flail for (banks...

L3301 HST quit running at idle

It seems it should be amenable to logical trouble shooting. The fact it quit while running is interesting, but perhaps is as simple as the fuse blew then it stopped. The question is why it won't crank at all at the moment. Once it's cranking, then the question is whether it will start. If...

One of my wheels fell off of my B2650 hydrostatic drive.0

I also note, although you probably already worked it out, if there's gunk and pieces inside, you're probably not reusing the fluid. Unless you strain it really really carefully. I wouldn't.

    Setting height on 60" mmm

It's not a ground contact deck. The wheels only touch when the ground is uneven (hence are called anti-scalp). The deck is supposed to just hang. I'm really unclear why the deck would rock side to side. I don't have a BX any more, but my deck was quite heavy hanging on the arms, it wouldn't tilt...

were my l2501 brakes on the whole time?

I had this once. Got my tractor stuck with no loader on so no self recovery, the missus came to help me get it out. Ended up with her driving it while I used a ratchet strap on a fence post to help. Not recommended, but it worked. After she left I jumped on and discovered getting stuck had...

    L2501 Advice

I agree that an L2501 is a bit small for that job. It's a great machine if you're looking for the biggest 26HP machine you can get (i.e. no DPF). But it doesn't have a lot of PTO HP, so running a big cutter it'll bog down, it won't like going up hills fast etc etc. It'll do the job, but as...

    BX23S with 54" mower deck

Bare weight of the machine is a bit over 1,500lbs. Yes, the trailer will take it. It's a bit short though - I think the tractor is 9 foot long (not sure if that's with or without loader). Not ideal, but it's legal and can be done. Yes, over time you'll probably want a bigger trailer. But you...

    BX2680

BX2680? Specifications are here: https://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/009/1/1/9114-kubota-bx2680.html Presuming you're US-based so you like old school measures, that gives 95 inches long, 45 inches wide, 1,500lbs. That's without loader or tiller, and without mower. The mower is probably...

I need to upgrade from my L2250 2WD

The full list of what they made is here: https://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/tractor-brands/kubota/kubota-tractors.html You have to poke around a bit, and I'd focus on tractors that are an L or a B (ignore the rest). I'd take a stab at: B2710 or B2910. Early 2000s, perhaps a bit small...

I need to upgrade from my L2250 2WD

It's an L-series with a 1.3L engine. Logically any L series will fit. Current equivalent model would be an L2502 (26HP machine with a 1.6L engine). Model before is an L2501, made from 2014, available with an HST and 4wd. There was an L2800 from 2004-2010. That is a desirable machine, no...
