    Question about natural gas

There is a lot of moisture in NG, that's why there is a drip leg installed at the connection to appliances. I've never seen a chimney/vent freeze like that, but it happening does not surprise me with the could spell we've had.

    Wiring Basics: chute rotator

Bandaid, I mean no disrespect...but all that text you quoted is just confusing things. There is more than one way to skin a cat so to speak, I could post 10 different circuits to do what the OP asked, but the diagram I posted is the simplest. All it's doing is reversing the polarity to the...

    Hydraulic chute rotater

As long as you can do the fabrication work to mount the motor and connect it to the crack handle, and find a suitable motor (one that turns slowly) for a reasonable price, you are on the right track. You can also add a small cylinder to the deflector for full hydraulic control of the snowblower.

    Wiring Basics: chute rotator

I'll try to answer the best I can... The use of relays is always good practice with high current devices, but without knowing what the motor draws, and what the switch is rated for I cant fully answer your question. It does add complication to the whole thing for sure. My "gut" feeling is if...

    Quick disconnect replacement 1640 loader

Most likely they are ISO 5675 "AG" type. Tape is a no-no as you guessed, any PTFE-based paste is good, as are some Lockite and 3M products but they are very expensive.

    FEL questoin

Used loaders are hard to find in general, nobody sells them without the tractor-it's not like other universal implements. Most ones I have seen are beat to death or been through fires.

kubota ballast box converted to quick hitch compatible

Great job! It's crazy that Kubota will not follow the ASAE Category 1 Standard S278.6 for quick-attach hitches when they build these boxes. You just shouldn't have to cut and weld a brand new attachment for your tractor.

    China 3 pt Backhoes

Besides the 3PH vs. Subframe issues, I have read about the poor quality valves, hoses and cylinders used on them, and oddball metric fittings that are near impossible to source in the states when you need to replace/fix something.

    Float Control

It could be a matter of simply lubricating the linkages that connect the joystick to the valve. Sometimes the detent balls in the cap (what holds the valve spool in float) get rusty and corroded, then it needs disassembly to clean. Do you store your machine outside? I assume the float funtion...

trouble hooking up snow blade hydraulics

Sounds like the classic "regen" problem. Here is a short article I wrote for the GTT forum a while ago: On most newer Kubota's, you have to "push thru" the regen function to get past it (joystick full right). Some of the older models had 3-ways valves so using a plow or chute rotation is...

    John Deere landscape rake

As noted, it will work just fine. The "limited" part of the 3PH on the 2305 is because it will not lift that high (compared to a full CAT1 3PH).
